This month marks five years since one of the most iconic albums of the 21st Century, Good Girl Gone Bad. It was critically acclaimed, won a grammy, was hugely successful, spawned various #1s, spawned one of the biggest singles of the decade and marked a drastic change in image. It also killed careers and most importantly cemented her as one of the biggest stars of the world, a status she's retained even to this day.

Hate all you want but you can't deny it's impact. I don't care if she didn't write it, Elvis didn't write any of his material and anyway she took creative control.

Good Girl Gone Bad received generally favorable reviews from music critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the album received an average score of 72, based on 16 reviews.
