Wait till JennCityIVLyfe sees this

swinearefine 12-06-2013 09:45 PM

 Such a shame no one knows what a floater is nowadays, it doesn't mean a boring person, it means someone who floats between alliances, e.g. Jun from BB4, who was anything but boring.

Macie Lightfoot 12-06-2013 09:54 PM

oh god this twist sounds horrible already

LemonJam 13-06-2013 01:31 AM

I don't understand how they can make it floater free...

Macie Lightfoot 13-06-2013 01:34 AM

Watch it be like the nominees are decided by the two people who do the worst in a Competition or some stupid ****

Marsh. 13-06-2013 01:48 AM

Floaters? Dirty bitch.

This whole time I was wondering how they could possible make it "floater-free" and that sounds about right. Which would be the worst twist ever.

A floater is someone who doesnt choose a side, doesnt make moves and floats to whoever is in power .... AND THAT WAS JENN
Therefore she was boring because she didnt do anything strategic the whole season, so please get off your high horse. thx.

Jenn was a strategic mastermind. How dare you make such claims?

That's exactly what he said a floater was so good job with that reading comprehension. And good lord if you really think someone is boring based on their STRATEGY of all things

Jenn-CityIVLyfe 13-06-2013 03:34 AM

I really don't understand the stigma against floating anyhow. If anything it makes the game less predictable. And it's not like it's a horrific strategic decision

Agreed. Jun and Alison were both floaters in BB4 and were probably the most entertaining housemates of the season.

Donovan. 13-06-2013 03:38 AM

It'd be interesting if they switched the nomination/eviction process and had the house select the nominees and the HoH choose which one to evict. That way everyone would have to try and get the numbers on their side, which, in theory, would get rid of floaters. The problem with that is that some HGs still wouldn't care, and it could lead to some really predictable evictions.

Plz dont try to patronize me, not going to work
I was just explaining why imo jenn was boring because she is the definition of a floater and strategy does make it interesting ( Imagine a hlouse full of floaters- BORING)

noo... floaters make it MORE predictable because you know excactly how theyll vote each week cause theyre too scared to switch it up.

Alison is an exception of being an entertaining floater

Floaters aren't boring for being floaters though? Like Gemmachi said Jun and Alison were floaters and they were unarguably the two most entertaining HGs that season. A house full of floaters would be rather unpredictable actually.

And again, if you really judge whether or not someone is entertaining based on strategy your views are sure to be warped so then again I shouldn't take anything you say too seriously. This could all be a clever trolling attempt for all I know.

DrunkerThanMoses 13-06-2013 09:05 AM

Will and Jun the queen and king of big brother are both floaters and were the most beloved people. Its obvious production just wants more people like Frank http://serve.mysmiley.net/sick/sick0021.gif

Gemmachi 13-06-2013 05:59 PM

I agree with Troy. People like Jenn aren't boring because they're floaters. You could argue that maybe she's a floater because she's boring, as her inability to connect with anyone in the house is what led to her not having an alliance. But I don't really think we've seen a true floater for quite a while. Floating when done right isn't a passive strategy; it's actively going between both sides and manipulating them against each other. I think you could call BB13 Shelly a pretty successful example of a floater, actually. Anyone who watched feeds that season definitely saw how hard she was playing.

LemonJam 13-06-2013 06:38 PM

I'm trying to rack my brain as to how they can have no floaters? They could do face to face nominations before the HoH to make everyone show their hand but that doesn't necessarily mean there'll be no floaters.

I can't figure it out either...it seems like an impossible situation to eliminate.
The only thing that I can come up with is if they do some kind of teams or cliques like they did in BB11 that aren't allowed to vote for their own

This.

Somebody is always going to lay low and try to be in everybodies good books

Marsh. 13-06-2013 11:15 PM

It's impossible.

For example, if you put a load of loud people into the house, some of them will quieten down as the stronger candidates overpower them.

The same as if you filled the house with quiet people, some of them will become louder and be more confident.
