How will they cope with no bathroom?

How are this year's housemates actually going to cope with no real bathroom in place?

The shower is outside and they've got somewhere they can wash apparently, and that's about it.

Not to mention, I've had a look at the weather forecast for next week and the MET office are forecasting either wind or rain up until Monday at least.. they'll definitely not want to shower outside in the pissing down rain and wind.

Will we see smelly, greasy, cheesed (probably smell a bit cheesy too) off housemates within the first few days?

If this weather keeps up they can just soap up and stand outside.

Imagine living with a 'Bogey' Mo or someone like that in conditions such as those...total nightmare!! but great for the viewing public.

There are some sinks outside. And a shower. :suspect:

Yes, but there's no luxurious bathroom this year where the housemates can go and lie in a bubble-bath... that's literally all they have.

They have the sinks and an outside shower and nothing else. So when it's windy and raining, I know I wouldn't like to be stood outside washing myself.

This is gonna be good. The TOWIE wanabes and models are gonna hate it. It'll be like when Noirin had to wear the drawn on glasses and nearly had a breakdown. :joker:

I'm slightly confused about the shower and bike thing? Does someone have to peddle on the bike for someone else to have a shower or do they just cycle on it for a bit then it produces electricity to have a shower?

Cause if someone had to cycle for them it could be pretty funny

Just like I'm a celeb a couple of years ago. That'll be fun.

Nope, the bike in the bedroom will be used to power the electricity at points during the series.

The shower will be powered by a water wheel. If you look at the house pictures, on the outside of the tree house there's a big red wheel - that has to be turned and the shower will work.

I can't see them not having a bathroom, I know it's wasn't released when they showed the rest of house but I honestly believe there won't be no bathroom somewhere in the house/ garden.

I don't think there will be, I mean, the Daily Star (as ****ty as they can be sometimes) have said there's no full-on bathroom this year.

It didn't appear in the house pics and there is no bathroom on the interactive tour.

Plus, looking at maps that have been drawn up of the house on the forum it doesn't look like there will be a bathroom? Unless one is hidden behind the doors, who knows, but apparently those doors won't open until further into the series.

So, at least to begin with anyway, it doesn't look like there will be one.

Vanessa 13-06-2013 02:55 PM

Yes, i think the bathroom is in one of the hidden rooms.

Jamesy 13-06-2013 03:01 PM

I think a nice bathroom will be hidden somewhere in the house. It's better to start off with very basic stuff though, keep them without a bathroom for a good few weeks!

Same with a pool really, I can see there being one hidden under some of the grass/decking in the garden.

Either that or they really do mean 'back to basics' this year. I somehow doubt it though.
