With Dexter, Gina and Sallie all featuring in the press last year, has it turned into Minor Celebrity Big brother?

Micro-celebrities like Dexter, Sallie and Gina could easily have made it onto Celebrity Big Brother.

I am getting CBB vibes, it's strange.

Sallie or Hazel could maybe make CBB at a push, I don't think appearing in a one-off trashy news article qualifies you though

I agree with Karezza, they should be on celeb BB. Maybe their agents couldn't get them on. :joker:

I thought this :laugh: it seems obvious that casting agents looked for people with "stories" in the media.

Danica Thrall had only featured on that awful doc before being on CBB. Maybe if Gina or Sallie had been on Snog, Marry or avoid as well as being in the press then their agent could have got them on CBB. :whistle:

The fact Sallie said something like 'Do you know any of them? I only know Hazel and Dexter from the papers' - I mean I'm sorry but that just screams something is wrong.

How the producers think this cast can even be described as 'normal' and 'non wannabe-ish' is unbelievable.

It wasn't like this last year, barring Benedict i guess.

Not liking the cast atm, plus it's missing a big male presence, male characters.

Totally agree with you Patrick. It's sullied for me what was looking to be a good BB. So I switched off half way through the first launch programme and decided not to watch for that reason highlighted and that reason alone. Up to that point for the first time in ages I was sort of looking forward to a BB, now I can't be bothered with it :(

It actually feels like they've upped the number of agent-cast HMs.

Still, you've got the likes of Wolfy, Sophie, the twins and Sam who seem normal enough. Hopefully things will stabilize as time goes on.

I don't know why they need to pick these failed celebrity wannabes.. BB 1/2/3 all worked perfectly

Yeah I was quite disappointed when I heard that as well. I was hoping for a complete cast of people who actually queued up or whatever it is you do to apply for BB.

They probably could've gone in CBB but then again...if the likes of Gina or Dexter went CBB instead, people would complain that they aren't celebrities like they did with Danica last year. They can't win.....

Not really, usually 50% of the celebrities in the actual Celebrity Big Brother are only minor celebrities themselves. If Sallie, Dexter, and Gina were the type of people going into Celebrity Big Brother we would have a serious situation on our hands.
