Twist overload

Is it me or have they really gone overboard on the "twists" in BB7.

It doesn't even seem like Big Brother anymore. It's a totally different game.

I understand that they have to refresh the format of the show and bring in new exciting things to keep viewers interested but this year, they've had more twists than the past 6 series put together.

It's really turning me off.:bored:

I don't mind all the twists, I just wish that the secret house wasn't such a disaster.
Tonight's twist should be great, if it's actually going to happen.

I like the twists but they get leaked out far to easy which makes it less exciting when they actually happen.

I think the producers just seem to think that the more hms the better the entertainment. Last year the show was beyond boring at this stage and for the last 3 weeks so they've learned from their mistakes.

I don't like this twist though because it's clear that Nikki would be going back in. Thats' the new employee of E4 Nikki. FIX.

Theyre trying to hard, which is almost depressing, i hope big brother carrys on though

I agree with you there. I enjoy the twists even those that flopped (the HND), they keep it interesting to watch.

Big Brother is meant to be about the twists. Without the twists it wouldnt be Big Brother.

Mike 04-08-2006 03:00 PM

Yeah the twists definately make the show but how on earth do they get leaked out so easily? i would much prefer not to know whats happening and get a suprise but it never happens, someone always finds out.

krissybabe06 04-08-2006 03:01 PM

i dont think its the twists i think people just think it out properly by whats happening and stuff, how people are with them and that

sol 04-08-2006 03:06 PM

I agree, it would be ten times better if no one knew about any of the twists, Lea knew that there was a secret house because it had been in the press straight after BB6 had ended.

krissybabe06 04-08-2006 03:25 PM

definately secret houses arent good

Edwin 04-08-2006 03:31 PM

The new HMs twist is just too much, they know that everyone wants Nikki back in and they're desperately trying to bring back nikki fans. What a load of tosh. If this is true, she's going back in, and she's going to be all OTT (well, even more) but she'll know that the public love her tantrums, so she'll just do more and more and it will be all contrived.

And i'm sick of hearing the word "twist" eurgh.

The problem this year is that everything has been leaked, the housemates the twists and everything.
The previous shows housemates whose names were leaked to the press were not allowed to enter the house what happened this year? We knew who most of them were before they entered the house.

Welcome to the Big Brother Sieve

theres been a lot of twists i guess but not very good ones

ferg_luvs_bb7 04-08-2006 04:19 PM

The secret missions were good last year

Foebane100 04-08-2006 04:21 PM

I thought most of the secret missions were crap or spoiled by a certain self-centred housemate.

krissybabe06 04-08-2006 04:29 PM

sometimes twists arent funny though

In the world of Endemol - or so it's rumoured - rules are rules until someone gets bored. And that seems to be once every six minutes at the moment.

I mean, we've all got a little bit bored over the last couple of weeks, and it seems that Endemol have noticed. And they're going to sort it all out for us. Public vote? The public be damned, apparently, what the hell do we know about making telelvision?
