prompting the programme’s producers to agree to a five-minute delay on the ‘live’ footage.
Well that part is bollocks straight away, theres always a delay on LF.

Is it really necessary to be wasting money on this? surely the BB producers would play birdsong over anything they deem dodgy from Dan anyway without all this extra work time having to be put it by the police force

As if anyone actually still gives a ****** about the Jimmy Saville scandal. Jesus

Also - 'Detectives made sure the live feed was on a five minute delay' - oh get over yourselves, it's been on a five minute delay since 2006 anyway you self important bellends.

Kizzy 22-06-2013 01:01 PM

More rollocks from the daily fail then?

fingers 22-06-2013 01:02 PM

That means he must know some JUICY secrets then, if they are that worried.

What are they so worried about hiding??? It must be something really shocking if they are that worried about it.

Nothing. The article is made up.

There's always a delay on live feed.

There's no doubt in my mind that he does know much more than they are comfortable with.

But he wouldn't be a police officer/detective, serving or ex, if he couldn't keep a secret :wavey:

Birdsong simply tries to cover up slovenly production standards, 'way too much work to edit out so-called non-broadcastable segments and replace them with PC clips. Much easier to put up "sorry for loss of sound".

Where do I apply

I'd prefer for us to hear him talking about it. Shame really.

He might not be the sharpest tool in the shed to leave such a good job but he was smart enough to become a Detective so I'm guessing he will know to keep his mouth shut when it comes to the investigations he took part in.

Well I hope if the Police are watching him then I also hope they will be hitting their phones in support of him.

Maybe he knows about police corruption, there's certainly a bit of that here just like other places.
