Has anyone changed their minds about Dan after last night...

..I still feel he has a bit of a 'superior' and smug attitude but I do think he was right in what he said to Jemima last night and respect him for doing so..I think I might be warming to him a bit..any other non fans feel the same..?...

JTM45 26-06-2013 06:19 AM

No!
I think that was probably a very calculated attempt by Dan to win favour with people who weren't going anywhere (as in 'not up for eviction') while drawing negative attention to the person who was up for eviction that he feels that he wants gone the most out of the three.
Maybe i'm over analysing the situation but going on what Dan has done so far i think there's a good chance that that was exactly how he was thinking!

I don't know why he felt the need to get involved with the conversation in the bedroom, Charlie approached Jemima after all and the conversation was between the two of them, admittedly Jemima was a bit loud and annoying but he could have just kept out of it.

good cop, bad cop, the same cop!!!

becki6 26-06-2013 07:00 AM

100% agree. I didn't like Dan very much but in tonights ep he read my mind! Have much more respect for him now.

elliebrew 26-06-2013 07:12 AM

Absolutely not. Hes atrocious!

wendywillow 26-06-2013 07:21 AM

yep it was a clever play to get jemima out. jemima cluelessly following his script.

Marc 26-06-2013 07:24 AM

I don't think he was right at all, he took something very personal about Jemima and started shouting at her and debating it as if he knew all about it. I really don't like him and I think he has no redeeming features

but in the same way jem was trying to do the! my dads bigger than your dad number, he is a he bitch

Ellen 26-06-2013 07:50 AM

Jemima was a bit loud and not very tactful when talking to Charlie but Dan should never have got involved. No one asked his opinion or spoke to him but he saw a moment where he could stir it up again.

Daffodil 26-06-2013 07:57 AM

I think Dan is ok! He is the best looking one there and the most sensible.

Lee. 26-06-2013 08:09 AM

I watched for the first time last night so haven't as yet formed opinions on any of the hms, but fr what I saw, Dan came across well and I thought he was spot on re Jemimas dead daughter outburst.

fruit_cake 26-06-2013 08:34 AM

I should really dislike him but his cheeky smile wins me over

No, but he was right last night.

Jemal 26-06-2013 09:12 AM

That's what he wants to try and do. He knew Jemima was abit OTT so he came and saved the day and made himself look like the good guy to convince the public and all of you the same.. Seems like its working. I still dont buy it, trust him to get involved in something's thats not about him.

Jemima would really piss me off too. She's all me me me. :bored:

Jemal 26-06-2013 09:17 AM

But with dans plan it does seem like its working because people are starting to like dan again when hes just a sly and cunning guy.. Who sits back and waits to take the side of the good person to make him come off as the good guy. Just like yesterday. Cant believe your all falling for it lol.

This, although I still like him.

Dash Darington 26-06-2013 09:37 AM

Dan is consistently calculating and manipulative, and tonight was no different. Nothing happened tonight to change my mind about him.

karezza 26-06-2013 09:54 AM

I don't like Dan but he is a great housemate. I hope he isn't up for eviction next week against whoever survives this week's eviction.

I agree.

Niamh. 26-06-2013 09:58 AM

I actually like him more after last night

He came across well. Jemima on the other hand ...... :joker:

Indy 26-06-2013 10:01 AM

Not really. If this is viewed as a yes/no situation, someone is right and someone is wrong, he was the "right" side of the argument, but he had as much business participating in it as Jemima did. They were both showing their backsides.

Shaun 26-06-2013 10:05 AM

I totally went off him. He was wholly insensitive (and I fear a large section of the forum are) - sure, Jemima's daughter didn't die, but it was still probably a traumatic experience and not something that needed shouting at her when it had nothing to do with him.
