Does anyone else feel that

-Putting LF during a time where other high rated programmes air (soaps, talent shows etc)
-Making housemates aware of live feed times significantly reducing the chance of anything big and controversial happening

was intentional so live feed was bound to flop and therefore 'prove a point' to fans who want it by creating the idea that noone cares about it? The fact that they're getting rid of it so early just further implies they weren't intending live feed to be a long term thing

I mean why else would they do that unless they're retarded?

it is part of their overall master plot to get Big Brother canceled and get the lowest amount of ratings as possible

These people are ******ing terrible at their job either way

I agree with someone in the other thread about them wanting it to fail from the start with no advertising etc etc so we'd all shut up once and for all

i don't think so, i just think they haven't thought it through

the time was 7-9 because they wanted 2 hours leading up to highlights, even though highlights are at 10

and i think they made housemates aware so they wouldn't risk being nude or swearing a lot, making it easier for the editors

then they didn't promote it because, i assume, they thought it would promote itself and fans would look for it.

clearly not the case.

i didn't even watch it. time isn't really suited to me and i don't want to listen to two hours of bird noise. i watch the live feed on friday after the eviction because it's slightly more interesting.

I don't think it was a pre-planned thing, but yes I do believe that they were looking for a reason to cut the LF and the apparent low ratings fell perfectly into place for them as an excuse.

in all honesty, i just don't think they cared enough to make it work

I have no idea why they wouldn't want it to work, but equally I have no idea why they put it on in direct competition with the soaps. I doubt people are going to shut up about it, if anything they will only be more vocal, so if that was their tactic it failed miserably.

Why can't they just introduce an online service and charge a fiver or tenner fgs

Maybe they didnt bother advertising it cause they know live feeds are **** tv and not worth paying a lot of money to pimp out? My mom started watching BBUK this year... she accidently watched live feeds instead of the normal show one night and got completely turned off watching it again. I had to convinced her to get her watching again, not she's back to being hooked on it.

Live feeds are boring. There only going to get a lot of viewers if they are put on right after the evictions for an hour or so.

i actually wasn't being sarcastic, i hadn't seen the big thread announcing it yet :joker:

i said this on another forum, I think it was there plan all along so the viewing figures would fail putting it at that time in the evening especially weekdays, I think they should have put it on early afternoon for a few hours & for couple hours after the HL's in evening, I think that would have worked better ......IMHO

Probably couldn't afford to advertise cause they had to pay for Michael :idc:
