Wonder what do Callum and Daley think of alpha Dan?

Dan is king of house right now, the leader.

On his VT Callum made it obvious he would be the alpha. Daley is a boxer. Wonder what they make of Dan (a gay guy, not that that's a reason not to be) being the alpha male role?

Niamh. 27-06-2013 01:13 PM

hhhhmmm I don't know, Callum certainly doesn't come across to me as an alpha male

fruit_cake 27-06-2013 01:48 PM

Dan seems to have a lot more energy than the others, and a lot more confidence in himself.

joeysteele 27-06-2013 01:50 PM

I cannot really work Callum and Daley out, I expected so much more from them especially Daley.

hopefully there will come out there shell

Callum is quite happy to just focus on his friendship/romance with Charlie at the minute, don't think he really cares about anything else. Same with Daley really, he doesn't seem like he could possibly care less about anything if he tried. But he did say in the diary room the other night he was quite happy to let whoever try to rule and he would "lead from the back"

I saw that as Daley resigned to 'defeat' to Dan in the alpha wars and admitting Dan's the leader.

Me. I Am Salman 27-06-2013 02:20 PM

They're both too distracted with trying to be as boring as possible

They really have fcuked up the dynamic of the house, i also expected much, much more.

There's a big hole in the house regarding big male characters, because of these two utter bellends.

Oh how i miss Aaron and Conor.

Agree male casting this year is poor. I suspect they want a female winner and need to have weak males to do this. A strong male personality will get more air time if not win eg BB9 Rex and Dale got more air time than dull winner Rachel.

Sam is a non-entity. He promised he'd be a cheeky womaniser in VT and so far has failed. Any man* can pull Jemima so she doesn't count.

Daley has no charisma and is just there

Callum is a huge let down, his VT was merely a marketing campaign to guarantee being chosen. Gina IS the girl in her VT. Ditto Sallie he can be Mr Reasonable eg comforting Wolfie but besides Charlie showmance he has no function.

Dan may be smug but he's quite watchable

*As long as he isn't black or Chinese

I just think Daley & Callum are playing the game, keep quiet and go under the radar as long as they can.

It's so frustrating when you see a VT of a housemate and think they are going to be brilliant, then they sit and do nothing...

anne666 27-06-2013 05:14 PM

All the men are boring in one way or another. Very poor male casting.

sampvt 27-06-2013 05:21 PM

There is an old saying in the animal world. You cant run with the pack and lead it at the same time. They will sit back and let Dan run himself into the ground before they make their moves. Callum is not a likely leader and Daley is too troubled to play Alpha, I think the house is more likely to have an Alpha female in Jackie. It is early days but this series is beginning to look like a Josy winner in the shape of Sophie or Jackie. The men in there are personality bypasses with daemons that will screw them up.

It is.They could have been 2 of the most entertaining in the house, on live feed the other day they were doing charades, it was hilarious but that hasn't been shown.

Callum did an impersonation of Jim Carrey, it was also great to watch and funny,I am amazed they haven't got to the forefront of things when they can be like that.

As you say, it makes it all the worse for seeing them seem to offer so much as housemates before they go in to only then become background people.

Withano 27-06-2013 05:27 PM

Callum also said he saved 28 lives in his VT so lets not regard anything he said in it

As much as I love the drama the house brings I also love (so much) when the housemates mess about, when they just have fun and yet they don't show it on the highlights.

Personally I would rather have seen Callum doing an impersonation of Jim Carrey, than watching him stroke Charlie's hair.

Braden 27-06-2013 05:36 PM

Well let's face it; it's not doing Dan any favours what so ever. He's coming off incredibly unlikeable, and to be honest they've probably noticed how much of a bitch he is and are just letting him dig his own grave.

I was going to ask how on earth those two would make their moves and you answered me in the latter part LOL. I agree Sophie or Jackie and I am becoming very bored .

Charlie and Dexter are lying on the bed together chatting. Callum will be jealous. :joker:

The live feed is on at the most ridiculous time as far as the house goes let alone competition from other prime time programmes . I am sick to death of watching them eat , wash up and not much else.

Yes, that's so off putting and I think the real reason some people stop tuning in.
