Thoughts on the housemate's pleas to stay...

..I can't see what purpose these 10 seconds to tell the public as to why they should stay/the other person should be evicted, speeches serve...they're incredibly cringy and aren't likely to have any effect whatsoever on the voting...so why do BB keep insisting on doing it...please stop...your thoughts..?...

BB scaping the bottom of the barrel as to ideas, the time given is ridicuous anyway to make such appeals.
Dexter made the best one of the 2 in my view, he seems able to say just enough and have it make sense too.

i think its good. yeah votes dont matter but it reveals who they are to the other housemate and us, prime example was dex's and jems he had a good speech she basically stamped on his head. he got a lot of respect for that from the others.
good chance to see how desperate they really are.

I don't like that bit at all and I'm surprised BB still goes for that. I understand what BB is after and they got it in Dexter and Jemima's case but to me it unconfortable watching. BB has taken aboard many things that the audience has wanted to change but this one to save is just odd.

Its cringe.

They tried to make it better by asking them to tell the public why the other person should be evicted but it didn't really work.

They still were sort of like "Yeah im fun im crazy and you haven't seen the best of me yet".

I think it adds to the show, if it continues you could get a grace, moment, where someone lets the other person have it big time,

I was only going to vote for Jemima once but after her save me plea, I voted half-a-dozen times.

It doesn't make any sense this year either.
They are making a plea to evict the other person, what if they are good friends with the other person?
Its not a vote to save anymore, so they aren't actually plea ing for votes.

This show is getting more bizarre.

If you watch 2 weeks of them on TV but need a 10 second plea to decide who to vote for, you probably shouldn't live in a democratic country.

This was done when vote to evict was the norm, what difference does it make? They are stating why they should NOT be evicted.Hideous bore fest.
