Croatia becomes the 28th member of the EU at midnight
"To get to this point, Croatia has gone through seven years of tortuous and often unpopular EU-guided reform. "
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worl...o-recital.html But as they join they are also in Big Debt. http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/...an-Uni-008.jpg "Croatia, a nation lost in translation Despite the fact that our country joins the European Union on Monday, we don't seem in the mood to celebrate" http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisf...european-union |
Does that mean it's cheaper to holiday there?

Travelling to Croatia is getting more expensive, trust. It's getting more and more tourist interest, demand = prices go up. The best time to go on holiday to Croatia is NOW, haha.
Anyway, I'm so excited! It means someone special I know in Croatia can come visit me without a visa soon :) yeyeyeye We could already go there, they're lax. |
Good news!

I met a Croatian boy once. I always pissed him off by calling him Russian. He hated it.

Great for them! I wish Serbia would follow Croatia's steps, but this country is such a mess :(
