Is that the one with Harry potter in it Niamh? If so, it scared the bejesus out if me.. Very creepy!

 yeah, I remember a bit with a rocking chair rocking on its own and something flashed past the camera.. I don't think you even saw what it was but I wouldn't even go up to the toilet! Hahaha

Have you seen Cabin in the Woods? Was thinking of watching that (using up the last week of my Netflix free trial  )

..I don't think I appreciated that movie as much as I probably should have when I watched it..(the scary bits, I mean..)..because I'd heard so much about the stage production and how 'jumpy' that was, so I somehow expected to be a lot more creepy than it was..but actually there were quite a few creepy moments so I think it was probably an ok movie...I agree with your scoring as well....

Yeah, I guess because I was expecting it to be bad, it turned out better than I thought

..Everything Must Go..8/10...I haven't told Mr A yet but I think I might actually be in love with Will Ferrell.....

Anatomy (2000) - Decent horror film, just annoying because it was a english dubbed and they always give them over the top american accents which kinda ruins the movie. 3/5

"Dirty Wars", 2013 by Jeremy Scahill (reporter).

If you think eavesdropping on phone calls is bad...........

A must see film.

Samm 26-10-2013 09:07 AM

World war Z

DrunkerThanMoses 26-10-2013 09:44 AM

The Apparition (2012) - Seriously has to be a a contender for one of the worst horror films ever made. Just really boring and non eventful. It doesn't even have the pleasure of being crap funny. 1/5

Vanessa 26-10-2013 04:29 PM

Superbad. It was so funny i was laughing all the way through. The cops were hilarious! :joker: 8/10

DrunkerThanMoses 26-10-2013 09:49 PM

Curse of Chucky (2013) - A decent sequel which focuses more on the horror element like the first three films and not comedy like Bride and Seed. Kinda slow in parts but some great cameos; especially the last one. If they do make another Chucky film I hope it follows the very end scene of this one. - 3/5

The Wee Man, 2013, a glamourised retelling of the part Paul Ferris played in Gangland Glasgow in the 80's and 90's.

Glasgow refused them permission to film in the city!

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 27-10-2013 11:22 PM

Currently watching savages.

Oh that Aaron Taylor Johnson so facking fit :amazed: Oh that Taylor Kitsch :amazed: And Blake Lively gets to play the girl that shags both as the three of them are in a loving relationship. Lucky biatch :bawling:

Livia 27-10-2013 11:36 PM

Byzantium with Gemma Arterton, Saoirse Ronan. Really enjoyed it. Yet another take on the whole vampire thing... 8/10.

Niamh. 27-10-2013 11:39 PM

watching Just like Heaven atm, love that film

Kick-Ass 2

was this directed by Ryan Murphy or something? Wildly OTT "love who you are!!!!! x" BS that's just absolutely no fun at all. The first was great because it had a sense of humour and wasn't serious. This just goes hard on the good vs. evil, superhero-overcoming-grief nonsense... very few funny moments, if any. There's toilet humour, a scene where the villain fails to get an erection when he's about to rape someone (lololoL!O!>!O!L!O!L!L!L!LLllL!LLLLLLLLll), and the dude from Scrubs. Yeah. not funny at all.

4/10.

Shaun 28-10-2013 01:03 AM

and there's an extended promo for Union J as well which just takes the ****ing biscuit

Ammi 28-10-2013 02:58 AM

..The Cable Guy...

Ammi 28-10-2013 03:35 PM

..World War Z...cool...

King Gizzard 28-10-2013 03:37 PM

Gentlemen Broncos - Probably one of the worst films I've watched, not surprised being the same guy made Nacho Libre which is also horrible (but Napoleon Dynamite which was good)....but then again in a way I kind of liked it. It has the randomness of Napoleon Dynamite at least

Shaun 28-10-2013 06:58 PM

Star Trek into Darkness

idk, I might have enjoyed it at the cinema by being distracted by all the noises and silly effects but at home... it just bored me, really. I liked the first one enough but there's not a terrible lot of story going on (ohay story of JJ Abrams' life). 5/10.

also staring with abnormally pretty eyes =/= acting, Chris Pine :idc: and he's really not hot. Benedict is quite good though.

reece(: 28-10-2013 07:01 PM

Paranormal Entity 2 - 1/10 .. I think it's the poorest horror film I've ever watched and had me laughing instead of being scared and I never laugh at horrors!:laugh:
