Do Charlie & Jackie have a good mother-daughter relationship?

I think its pretty great, neither are too over-bearing on each other and they give each other space to mingle whilst being good support for one another when needed.

Jackie is acting like a control freak and wont let her daughter fly the coop. She needs to understand the lass has her own mistakes to make and she will grow as a person if left alone.

I really like both of them,Jackie is often hilarious but with a serious side too.

Yes,I think they have a really good relationship.

Shes only defensive when Charlie makes mistakes, its perfectly natural. I dont think she controls Charlie at all, they are quite often in different company.

You confirmed my views completely, thank you. Mothers don't need to be mollycoddling their broods long after they have breached their 20,s. That's just not right. She is using Charlie to play out her own Peter Pan type fantasy. She is seriously OTT with the teenage sh.it. She needs to act her age and stop acting like an adulterant teenager. Its ok to be hyper and have fun but she gets quite moody when Charlie broaches her own juvenile views.

I think she wants to constantly remind Charlie that she refuses to grow old. Nothing worse than an old woman trying to act like a big hip kid.

Yes I believe they do.

Coming onto a show like BB is going to test everyone's patience at some point, so for these two to be comfortable in doing this speaks volumes.

I also like how they respect each other's personal space and privacy.

I must admit I was hoping for fireworks from them and while that could still happen, it hasn't made me like them any less from when they first arrived on the show.

Jackie seems a bit overbearing tbh

Then again mothers are sort of meant to be like that

Not being a mother or a daughter I dont know what a good relationship between the two would be like, but they ain't half dull.
