I think I hate...

Dan. I didn't think I'd dislike him so much, but he's suck a hypocrite it's disgusting. he constantly moans sand groans and thinks he's the best in the house. He says he don't talk about other housemates behind their back but that's all he does. He's not even an entertaining female dog now, he's annoying. And it's annoying that he's annoying haha.

Thoughts on Dan now?

Lavender87 04-07-2013 11:57 PM

I was indifferent towards him when he first went in. Now he's starting to irritate me a bit. What gets on my nerves is the way he will speak his mind and then after, stalk off and have a little hissy fit and say "oh I shouldn't have said that, I should just keep quiet!" I think sometimes he should just keep quiet, although it does make for entertaining viewing.
The way he treated Callum after face-to-face nominations annoyed me too.

Jords 05-07-2013 12:00 AM

Disliked him for ages now, just bugs me no end.
I dont think hes a 'bad' person though, neither is Wolfy.

Kizzy 05-07-2013 12:02 AM

I want gina to be his new BFF!

joeysteele 05-07-2013 12:07 AM

Oh crumbs, here we go again, Dan is an okay guy, they all talk about each other, there is not that much else to do in there but only Dan gets singled out and hammered for it.

Plenty have talked about Dan too, with blatant lying as to him too, such as the bullying accusation from Wolfy.
The thing with Dan is that what he says, most has been said or heard of what he said by the person he is actually talking about.
He doesn't invent anything, he just says what he sees and what he thinks but he never twists what others have said.

Nothing wrong with the guy at all in my view.

Maneki-neko 05-07-2013 12:12 AM

I like him but if he went I probably wouldn't care at all tbh. But i think lots of other housemates should be evicted first.

Vicky. 05-07-2013 12:12 AM

Starting to like him again. Hes an utter mess

Not because he cried :joker:

He cant take criticism at all, I dont think he even realises how bitchy he is, he feels so sorry for himself constantly...hes just falling apart..and I find that quite interesting to watch tbh

joeysteele 05-07-2013 12:16 AM

Nothing wrong with a man or woman crying, all people are different and have different ways of coping with situations they are not used to.

As a human being he will also be able to be hurt and have feelings too no matter how strong he may normally be outside of the BB house.

I agree 100%.
He's probably the most REAL HM in there. There's no pretense with Dan, he is just himself. I liked him from Day 1 and probably like him even more now.

I agree jet, I am really glad you are here for BB this year again, really nice to hear your balanced views.

DAN Neal enraged BB fans last night by secretly plotting to cash in on his fame as “Big Brother’s Savile sex cop”.

dan, neal, police, yewtree, scandal, big, brother, channel, 5ABOVE:

The former policeman is convinced his role in the investigation and his time on the show can help him make a fortune.

Dan has even lined up an agent and reckons he will have no trouble raking in cash by making nightclub appearances, modelling and even starring in his own reality show.

“I gave up everything to do Big Brother, crazily,” he told Gina Rio. “I’ve suppressed the creative side of my personality. I feel Big Brother is the push I need to get out. It’s exciting, very daunting, but I have to believe I can do well.”

In a cosy late-night chat Gina, 24, even offered to introduce him to her agent Jaine Brent, who looks after celebs including Phillip Schofield, 51, Russell Grant, 62, Kerry Katona, 32, and the band Blue.

Gina told him: “Looking at your aura, I see you in the papers. I see you being papped all the time.”

Excited Dan told her: “Does your agent have men on her books? I wonder what she will do with me?”

The 33-year-old has become one of this year’s most talked-about housemates following a series of bust-ups.

He made headlines when he went on the Channel 5 show because he revealed he had quit his job as a detective working on Operation Yewtree, which probes celebrity sex abuse claims, to go in the house.

No stars quizzed in the inquiry, including Freddie Starr, 70, Jim Davidson, 59, and Dave Lee Travis, 68 – none of whom has been charged with any offence – were able to talk about Dan’s cash bid last night.

But one showbiz source said: “It would be extraordinary if a Yewtree policeman was making money on the back of this when so many people have seen their lives put on hold.”

Last night viewers saw Dan suffer a mini-meltdown in the diary room after he was branded a bully and put up for eviction.

He sobbed: “What is wrong with me? I don’t want to cry. I feel a bit lost. I feel lonely.”

Dan really gets on my nerves too. He wants to run the house but he is such a pussy! He got some votes from a few housemates and he was crying like a baby spouting crap about how he was good and he hadn't found anyone to care for him. I couldn't give a flying ****** about most of his opinions and I wish Dexter would tell him that when Dan he belittles his character. Dan has got a big mouth. He has lots of horrible things to say about others but can't handle criticism himself most of the time. Dan becomes completely irrational. I'm pretty sure if I was in the house I would have snapped on him. I don't suffer raging hypocrites easily.

karezza 05-07-2013 05:34 PM

I hate him as well. He is a paranoid, self-pitying narcissist.

:nono:

EzzaB 05-07-2013 05:39 PM

I hated him to begin with.
Then I started to like him at the start of this week.
Now I can't stand him again.

BigBrotherfan4ever 05-07-2013 05:41 PM

I've liked him since Day 1, & I've liked him more & more as each day as the series goes on, I think just a everyday normal guy, what like him about him the he's a very deep thinker, & always analysing every situation, I tend to do that myself, so in all honesty I see lot of Dan in myself, that's problably why like him so much.

karezza 05-07-2013 06:01 PM

I don't like how he is with Dexter. One minute he is friendly then he goes and nominates him and then bitches about him.

Gina isn't anyone's friend, she's fake with all of them. You only see the real Gina in the diary room where she tells us she can't stand any of them, tells them all "to go fuc* themselves" and calls them all "cocksucker*".

Such a charming and lovely girl.I think NOT.

Not trustworthy either as she didn't give a f about joining in with the others whether it upset her so called friend Wolfy or not.

CaudleHalbard 06-07-2013 01:25 AM

Dan offends my TV screen! It is worrying to think that someone as unstable as him and who has such personality flaws was a police officer for 10 years.

He was the one who sussed out Michael early on and is seeing through Wolfy for the fake that she is. I think he must have been an excellent police officer.
He's very observant and on the ball.
I'm at a loss as to why anyone would think that someone's job means they aren't allowed to show their weakness's and emotions in a setting removed for their employment.
I'm a psychologist - does that mean I'm above any behaviour that isn't 'totally normal'? I hope not. I'm human and prone to the same faults and foibles as anyone else is. As is Dan....

erinp5 06-07-2013 02:50 AM

I did hate him ,now I am indifferent I just can't be assed listening to him anymore.

Indeed he did and in my view too I think he clearly was a good police officer to rise to being Detective too.

I would like to see how I, and indeed those who criticise Dan unfairly too for being emotional in the house, would cope with being in there as well.
I have said many times, BB is littered during all its series with people who were seen to be strong who have become emotional and got upset while in BB,often over the smallest of issues too.

Easy to mock someones emotional chaos from an armchair.
