Please please please for the love of God put Katie Hopkins and Julie Burchill in CBB!
 

Not the most famous of faces but certainly controversial characters and polar opposites. Remember how in BB5 the first 2 housemates were openly gay anti-asylum seekers Marco and homophobic asylum seeker Ahmed. Or in CBB3 there was feminist icon Germain Greer and mysogonistic John McRirrick. So why not have the insufferable snobbish, classist 'Aprentice' star Katie Hopkins vs the campaigner of 'chav' rights, shameless 'Sugar Rush' author Julie Burchill?

Exactly! As much of a hanger-on she is, and a tedious person at least she's current again and controversial. Someone like Julie Birchill would be ideal to chuck in the same series

The best bit is when she's listing out the types on names she doesn't like and she said geographical names and Phillip says, Isn't your daughter called India? lol

For me, at the heart of this is a good point but Katie fails to make it. If you see a name like Chardonnay I think people do form an opinion of the person who that names belongs to. They dont prevent their kids from playing with kids called those names but I think its natural to look at a name and form an opinion.

Katies reason for doing this are simply so she can be a snob and turn her nose up at people which shows much more about her than it does about anyone with the names she doesn't like.

I hope when Katies kids are a little older they dont buy her bullsh*t and challenge her views. Maybe that's what it'll take to bring a dinosaur like her into more modern thinking. I n the mean time get her the hell of TV she doesn't deserve any kind of voice or airtime.

Or when she states her dislike of ugly children being named Bella but then tries to flatter Holly after learning Holly's daughter's name lol.

I do kinda agree with this but the hypocrisy of her own child's name, the over-the-top flattery to Holly and the execution of it make it seem rather panto. She's playing up to the attention and loving it up until the moment she realises Holly is no longer amused. I also hope in the long term her opinions change or are challenged by her kids. Originally I was shocked by it all and thought the same that she should vanish from the public eye but less than 24 hours later I'm over that and kinda want more.

She's the kind of 'celebrity' like Katie Price in the sense that I don't like her, I don't care about her stories, her views, her claim to fame or don't care for anything about her, BUT, she would be entertaining, or at the very least, a talking point. I never saw her on The Apprentice but remember her as fairly boring on I'm A Celeb, however I think IAC is more of a family show and there's more of a team spirit with the contestants working together whereas Big Brother is more adult, nastier and a better show for her uncensored self to appear

Dont give that awful Hopkins woman more time in the spotlight :/

This isn't directed at you OP because I to would like her in Big Brother but how do we people not realise she is trolling?! It's all a publicity stunt. Notice how she is quick to interrupt the woman in the interview saying it's nothing to do with her kids, it's her choice. She doesn't want her kids involved. But if you look at her twitter you'll see she is doing it all for attention and everyone is falling right into her arms...

Never heard of either of them.
