Why does Demand 5 refer to this year's Big Brother as..
 

'Series 3'.

It really ******ing annoys me. Especially considering how Channel 5 themselves, now embrace the fact that this is BB14 and last year's was BB13, and so on - if you notice on Bit On The Side when someone from a Channel 5 series was on it will now say 'Tom O Conoll: BB12' rather than 'Tom: BB 2011'.

Get with the times Demand 5. :idc:

Because it's not series 14 on channel 5. It's nothing sinister, just for the sale of demand 5 they call it series 3. They still refer to it as series 14 everywhere else. :)

Its series 3 for Channel 5.

It's the third series to air on Channel 5 and the third series to be put on Demand 5. It's easier to list.

I'm not stupid, I know it's the third series on Channel 5. I just think it's pretty pointless for them to refer to it as BB3, when everyone else knows it as BB14.

It isn't being listed as "BB3". It's listed under series 3 but they aren't actually calling it "BB3".
