I JUST realized who Sam reminds me of - MUST WATCH VIDEO!!!

When I heard Sam get excited about the chocolate cake and start exclaiming in his bizarre accent, I flashed back to a movie from my childhood.

This is a MUST WATCH VIDEO.

WATCH THIS AND TELL ME HE IS NOT CHANNELLING THIS CHARACTER FROM A FAMOUS KID'S FILM!!!!!!!!

That's actually quite cruel.

JTM45 10-07-2013 01:20 PM

Sam's "bizzare accent" is a Welsh accent and you have offended our entire Welsh Nation!!!!! Bastard!!!

Kazanne 10-07-2013 01:25 PM

The guy is also deaf which has a detrimental effect on speech,I like the lad,he's quiet but his deafness probably plays a roll in that too, maybe he is a bit intimidated by the rest of them

oathbreaker 10-07-2013 01:26 PM

His Accent is typical Llanelli
I have the same

anne666 10-07-2013 01:27 PM

He is just a nonentity and when he cracks jokes, well just dont.

Sorry but my partner walked in when Sam was "talking" and he was like............WTF?!?!

He SERIOUSLY could NOT understand a single word he was saying.

To the refined Australian ear, that just sounds like gobbledegook!!!

We call him "Little Britain" now because he seems like he should be a character on that show!!!

I've been asking bb for subtitles from day one to no avail.

Maybe because they aren't needed? He's not that difficult to understand.

anne666 11-07-2013 05:31 PM

Sam just talks about football transfers ALL the time, according to Wolfy.

We've not been shown any of this.

sooty 13-07-2013 11:28 PM

It is cruel to laugh, but some people may not have realised that he is deaf.

I like him but he may be too boring for the Big Brother House. I do not wish him to win.

.

He is not completely deaf - has about 20-30% of normal hearing and he lip reads. His hearing defect didn't seem to affect his ability to understand what people are saying.
