I know it's crappy on the site but we want it to succeed, right? He works on the show btw

They can still tell how many people are streaming the link.

Jack_ 12-07-2013 11:39 PM

It depends whether they're interested in that though and look at those figures or whether they're more bothered about hits on the website and count it that way, you just don't know so it's probably safer to watch it on the official site so they don't get pissy and make out it's not worth their effort

Josy 12-07-2013 11:42 PM

Analytics will still tell them how many hits the links are getting...

Jamesy 12-07-2013 11:45 PM

I have a feeling they may not be interested in streaming figures but website viewing figures. As the website will get x amount of views a day and they want it at x more views a day. Something like that anyway.

smudgie 12-07-2013 11:51 PM

Watching it on the website, no problem.

They don't care - they'll look at the website hits between 11:30 and 2AM, because of advertisers etc

I don't see why anyone would watch on VLC anyway. Far easier and more convenient on the website.

Exactly my point

daniel-lewis-1985 13-07-2013 01:03 AM

It works perfectly fine on the website so whats the problem?

iRyan 13-07-2013 03:40 AM

I have to use VLC since it's restricted to me, but yes everyone else should just watch on the site.

reece(: 13-07-2013 03:41 AM

The VLC player is much easier, can be resized, volume changer and snapshot taker <3

If you don't live in the UK, you can't watch via the website.

Jack_ 13-07-2013 03:52 AM

It's all good. :)

I give their official youtube vids heaps of hits FWTW (which is possibly nothing lol  )

billy123 13-07-2013 07:04 AM

If the website hits were how they measured the livestream views (it wont be) then just give the website a hit and then watch it however you want because thats all watching it via the website would do.

armand.kay 13-07-2013 07:39 AM
