Is Dexter being hypocritical?
 

Has anyone else thought about this?

So, Daley has a girlfriend on the outside world. Gets close to Hazel and the public think it's not fair on Katie (his girlfriend) - which I also very much agree with. It's all bang out of order.

BUT.. Dexter also has a girlfriend on the outside world, confesses his feelings for Charlie, whether they're real or fake feelings I don't know, but it's not really clear as to how the public feel about this. Yet Dexter's conversation he had with Daley and Hazel gives me the impression he is completely against the whole idea of it.

Surely Dexter and Daley are in similar sorts of situations,yet the attention is on the 'relationship' between Daley and Hazel.

What do people think???

Dexter's girlfriend gave him a hall pass to do anything he like sin the big brother house.....

Daley has a gf and apparently he was crying over her in the first few days about how much he loves her and now apparently he is saying they broke up.... :cat:

Dexter is in a open relationship, daley wasn't.

IMO there's no such thing as an open relationship. Your either single or taken. Thats my take on it.

oh I agree but I'm sure even his girlfriend said it was a open relationship, so i'm sure she doesn't have a problem with it.

I think Dexter's gf on BBOTS said she gave him a hall pass but it was a test.

who knows what to believe with sexy dexy.....supposedly his missus said something about the hall pass, but now shes dumped him, so who the heck knows....the other one is more tricky as it seems more serious relationship and theres a child involved....though again who knows what to believe in big brother world, theyre probably all out for a fast buck....even the supposedly broken hearted girlfriends outside

Ive posted all weekend the same thing ,Dexter is the last person to comment on what others are doing as ,if Charlie was desperate he would be doing the same ,hes also got a girlfriend watching the show,and lets be honest here ,what the hell has it got to do with Dexter what anyone else does? he needs to mind his own business

I suspect any relationship with sexy Dexy would have to be open: he probably swings both ways! ;)

It would be quite interesting to watch if he had a chat with Jackie about his 'feelings' for Charlie though..... ;)

What she actually said was that she told him that he had a hall pass for his time in the house but that she hoped he wouldn't use it and she was testing him to see if he would. Dexter also said, when he told Hazel that he had feeling for her that he hoped he wasn't messing up his relationship with his g/f for nothing (or words to that effect)

Regardless of whether Dexter is in an 'open relationship' or a 'closed(?) relationship', I'm 90% he hasn't actually got feelings for Charlie and this is just part of his game.

Dexter is of course being hypocritical. And if it's a game he's playing, he's really not very good at it. He's toe-curlingly embarrassing to watch.

I think every man has feelings for Charlie, shes pretty irressitable

However, his girl friend did give him a hall pass although she has since confessed it was a test.

I like Dexter but if I'm honest he does need to practice what he preaches where this is concerned.

If he wanted a hall pass then he should have broken up with his girlfriend!

Further to that, anyone that has a problem with Daley and Hazel but doesn't mind Dexter pursuing Charlie is also a hypocrite in my eyes.

Dexter has a hall pass, as others have said.

Also, he isn't doing the same kind of explicit stuff, at all.

All he has done so far is tell Charlie he likes her. He has respect for her, which i love.

Dexter has only mentioned he liked Charlie, he hasn't been flirting like mad with her, dry humping her & been getting a stiffy in his pants like Daley has with trollop Hazel...

Exactly. And he thinks it's all one sided. :(
