Why did BB drop Hazel in the sh!t when Daley questioned how he was aggresive?

They basically told on her lol.

They said "Hazel also confirmed she felt threatened and cornered".

C'mon BB have the balls to just say his behaviour was offensive and not resort to dropping another housemate in it to cover your back.

This resulted in him becoming very angry at her (again) and now as you can see having hatred for the girl.

It was such a sensitive situation he should never have been told that Hazel had confessed she felt that way especially when it was BB who prompted her to say it

she didn't voluntarily go to the diary room to stress this.

That should have been kept in confidence.

Marc 17-07-2013 03:50 PM

To justify their decision

Niamh. 17-07-2013 03:50 PM

I agree but never the less he should have been ashamed that he made her feel afraid not got angry with her because of it...........but there you go point proven that she was right to feel that way

Jack_ 17-07-2013 03:51 PM

I really didn't like that, since when has it been okay to quote other housemates diary room entries, it's meant to a confidential place where discussions that occur remain private, they have always stressed that so this wasn't very fair

I actually think that's the reason he still seems so pissed off at her, the way they read it out it was as if she was calling for him to be kicked out

For all her astuteness, it was either dumb to say what she did or else it was completely calculated.

You are taking the piss, right? Her reaction in the diary room was totally genuine and her body language said it all

The problem was that the way Big Brother read it out conflicted with what Daley thought she was feeling as she had hugged him and told him that he'd done nothing wrong (and NO, that doesn't mean it was calculated...she's hardly going to tell him directly that she was scared straight after the event is she, give me a break) so when he found out she'd said all that behind his back and the way they read it out as if she was demanding he be kicked out, well I'm not surprised he was pissed off and confused...I genuinely believe that's why he now has this big problem with her, because nobody seems to have explained to him that she was just scared at that particular moment but was still concerned about him the next day

It was just a bad explanation on Big Brother's part and something which should never have happened (reading her quotes out that is)

Daley seemed to looked shocked when they mentioned him being aggressive so they had to make sure he knew how Hazel had felt about it.

CaudleHalbard 17-07-2013 04:01 PM

Daley will see what she said in the DR, now he's out of the house.

Makes no difference that Emma mentioned it: it's public knowledge.

He openly acknowledged the night before that his behaviour could be seen as offensive so that's all they needed.

He broke BB rules and there was no need to quote a confidential chat of such a sensitive subject to him which would make the man feel 100 times more enraged and confused after they left him spend the night with her.

They were out of order and handled the situation totally wrong.

Yeah, it's a bit hypocritical if you compare it with the Deana/Conor thing. In that case Deana was asked if she felt threatened in the house after Conor received his warning but they never told her that Conor had got that warning or what he'd actually said about her, in that case it would have been justified yet they never told her

Yes could be seen as offensive but they were removing him for aggressive behaviour and I'm guessing that's why they quoted Hazel to let him know that she had also seen it as him being aggressive.

Don't see why matters either tbh way since the public watched Hazels diary room scenes anyway he could easily have watched when he got out.

johnx 17-07-2013 04:15 PM

Had some sympathy for Daley but he's in todays Daily Star calling Hazel evil-and probably pickin up a few grand. This a day after they called him a sex attacker!! Of course the same person owns both CH5 and The Star.No one has come out of this seamy episode lookin good really.

Stankleberry 17-07-2013 04:20 PM

Oh poor victim Hazel.

johnx 17-07-2013 04:22 PM

My favourite moment;
BB-Daley,could you explain what just happened?
Daley-(looking totally bemused) In what respect?

Vicky. 17-07-2013 04:22 PM

The way they said it was as if she had actually made a complaint too..rather than just answered their question. Bad form. I don't think he would have as much resentment for Hazel if he knew the truth tbh

Northern Monkey 17-07-2013 04:24 PM

He would of seen it anyway.

Daffodil 17-07-2013 04:26 PM

The reason they asked Hazel about her feelings on the incident was to establish whether to get rid of him or not. Because she confirmed she felt threatened, they had no alternative but to remove him. If she had not made that statement, he would still be there but with a formal warning.

tonster76 17-07-2013 04:32 PM

justification

I think they were just trying to justify their decision, it makes no sense to me that she riled him up so much and sexually harassed him and then said she felt cornered. she was trying to get him into her bed.

his language wasn't to be taken literal or out of context. it's just the way he talks, the slang he uses. I think he was less guilty then her in the situation like, he just used language, she actually groped him. if anyone was cornered it was him.

why she would say she was fearful I don't understand... she was saying come on then, I'm not afraid of aggressive men and stirring him on

she deserved to be dobbed in for finalising bb decision

Sophiee 17-07-2013 04:43 PM

this is exactly what I thought, however they did need to justify the reasons to daley for his ejection. if they were going to air it on tv anyway he could have seen when he came out of the house. I still think it was wrong though really.

kate2013 17-07-2013 04:53 PM

I agree with Josy.
BB would have removed Daley from the house because his behaviour was aggressive and threatening. It was because Daley appeared puzzled that they informed him of how Hazel felt. He knew he'd done wrong because he questioned her if he'd done anything wrong before he left and went to the diary room. If he thinks that grabbing a woman by the neck and pinning her to the bed by her wrists then threatening to nut her is acceptable, then there is something seriously wrong.

Instead of focusing on Hazels wrong doings to make money he should be accepting his own, otherwise he has learnt nothing and needs to change his PR before he digs himself a hole so deep there be no ladder long enough to climb out of it. The papers will be loving this, what Daley should of done was taken a few days to let his emotions calm down then sat and rewatched the footage from a viewers perspective.

Any woman accusing this control freak misogynist of ANYTHING would annoy him. He was so pissed I doubt if he remembered much anyhow. Frightening!!

Agree and he had said it himself and apologised. No argument.

yea there told on her it not like it a tv show where Daley can view what been said is it :rolleyes::rolleyes:

vivparker 17-07-2013 05:13 PM

and why shouldn't they have grassed her up - she wasn't exactly without blame regarding the whole incident. I still think they should show the house before she cashes in on the poor little victim role. Don't get me wrong, I don't condone his behaviour but she has got to shoulder a portion of the blame for egging him on.
