Emma back tracking on BBOTS over Daley.

Sad, very very sad for her to back track (after being told by BB producers no doubt) and say her comments about it (takes two to tango) was about the last 4 weeks. I don't buy it for one second!

elliebrew 17-07-2013 10:34 PM

Oh get a grip

She was perfectly fine In the Daley interview

She had no reason to ass lick the moaners on here

Cherie 17-07-2013 10:36 PM

I don't think she backtracked, I think she clarified for people who didn't get what she meant first time round.

GiRTh 17-07-2013 10:36 PM

I thought her correction was quite patronizing TBH.

Jake. 17-07-2013 10:37 PM

She could have said it better, but I think it was more her clarifying things..

She is probably quite rightly sick to death of people disecting every nuance and demanding her head on a stick.

There was no need for the smug look to camera at the end.

smudgie 17-07-2013 10:42 PM

Wonder if she will sway anyone enough to think of pushing the rewind button on the sky box.

Ermmmm nah.

Withano 17-07-2013 10:44 PM

At least it was there. She didn't have to say a word.

Every need in my opinion

People can deal out sarcasm and smugness but get heat up when it's flipped bk on them

CaudleHalbard 17-07-2013 10:47 PM

She didn't backtrack. She dismissed the criticism with a touch of contempt.

g17m 17-07-2013 10:48 PM

guys seriously get a grip, she is doing wonders for this show and really doesnt deserve any abuse online about the 'two to tango' comment, which was blatantly not about the threatening behviour and was clearly about the relationship in the lead up. people need to stop being so anally retentive, yes what daley did was wrong, yes hazel flirted with him in the lead up to it, yes daley has apologised on live TV, stop giving Emma hassle online and just move on now it's getting boring

The interview was about the incident and not about the prior 4 weeks.

Marsh. 17-07-2013 10:51 PM

If people were goin to complain, why was it about that comment? I knew what she was referring to last night.

My problem was that after Daley reeled off his list of excuses about food, drink, the house etc, Emma's line of questioning was about their relationship how it was 50/50 they hurt his "lovely Katie".

That's all well and good but the interview was supposed to be about the Sunday night incident not about how they're both to blame for getting involved in the first place.

They completely circled around the issue. Not that it's particularly Emma's fault, she's essentially a producer puppet in these situations.

Johnnyuk123 17-07-2013 10:52 PM

If the rewind task was on during the incident Daley would have battered her to death.

CaudleHalbard 17-07-2013 10:57 PM

It will all soon be forgotten by the public at large.

Daley will end up as some sort of hero anyway. Hazel will forever be the evil witch.

It's a cruel unfair world ain't it! ;)

Marsh. 17-07-2013 11:05 PM

She was getting the brunt of blame before the Sunday incident.

Jords 17-07-2013 11:16 PM

She want not back-tracking, just straightening things out.

People were very annoying on here last night regarding Emma.

Jack_ 17-07-2013 11:30 PM

She confirmed what myself and some others had said she was referring to which was glaringly obvious seeing as she's made so many similar comments about their relationship over the past few weeks, some people are really melodramatic and she owned their asses. Queen

Well tbf it is her job, she and her show spend all their time dissecting the HMs and everything they do, obviously we the viewers do that about all aspects of BB including the Presenters

smeagol 18-07-2013 09:08 AM

it wasn't the 2 to tango comment that was the problem. it was her saying in no way was this all your fault. basically saying she was asking for it.
emma will never admit on tv she done it badly. but i'd like to think if you asked her alone of cam she'd have the decency to admit she totally messed up .but who knows
the katie interview was the same cringe fest , and i think has a lot to do with how she treated daley . she has obviosuly spoke to her before hand

far to biased that show and far too transparent with it.

Totally agree.

People see what they want to see. Unfortunately, this relies upon those people's perception. Now factor in the immense stupidity of many of that number...yes, you get my point...

I don't agree at all. She made an ambiguous comment that was easy to misinterpret yet giving a smug look to camera and a patronizing 'alright' when she corrects that comment is not owning anyone in my book. If she stands by what she initially said then she should continue to stand by it ie 'it takes two to tango' but of course she will receive no end of criticism if she does that but to apologise/correct so half heartedly was pointless IMO. She may have well have said nothing. The apology/correction wasn't worth the effort she put into it cuz she clearly didn't mean it.

Novo 18-07-2013 09:53 AM

She shouldn't have even had to apologise or even clear it up anyway, she was 100% right, some people just love to pick faults that aren't even there
