Moths, like or dislike?
 

I just caught one in a glass and got a close look at it, and realised they are actually cute looking, and don't really do any harm, their just like butterflies that come out at night, and I personally like them, so I have to ask.. anyone else a fan of them or not, i know this is a boring thread, but its half past 2, so why not? :joker:

I don't like them but have taken close up photos of them which look quite nice. :)

one of the most annoying things is sitting on the computer at night in a dark room and there's a moth flying into your head and the only time you can see it is when it fly's in front of the computer screen, they are annoying little things.

Annoying as ****.

I love them, I got to be honest I get upset when one kills itself on a lamp.. aha.

I dont mind them, happy to catch them and put them out the window. Not a fan when they fly in your face though :joker:

Dispise them, little bastards thinking they can just fly into my room and land on my tv or laptop :nono:

My second most hated creepy crawly after spiders, I also hate Butterflies

Actually the only insect I like are Dragonflies because they look like Helicopters and they never try to invade your personal space

I really hate them. I never used to be that bothered about them until I stayed at my grandmas one night and left the window open because it was hot. She lived next to a forest..

I was woken up at about 3am by something hitting my head. I turned the light on and I swear to got where were about 10 gigantic moths flying AT me over and over. Been terrified of them ever since.

I was round at the girl I worked with's flat last month having drinks before a bunch of us went out and they had the window open; and a moth flew in and I swear to god the only thing I can compare it to was like a big poo with wings :laugh2: it was HUGE, we were terrified, and then it flew into the lamp and fell onto my friend's head and we all screamed/laughed and then it flew out the window, gruesome! All moths terrify me!

I sometimes get those massive hawk moths in my garden - i would die of fright if one of those humungus beasties got in.

I was in Australia a couple of years ago and I swear to God I never saw moths so big, it was disgusting, there was around 30 of them, all the size of small birds outside my friends patio door

I'm terrified of them... I just had to chase one about the house with the Hoover.. Got it though :) The hunted became the hunter

Exactly! I don't understand why people even differentiate that much between them, they're almost exactly the same

Yeah butterflies can go do one as well as far as I'm concerned although I don't really know the difference between them and moths, for all I know I'm accusing moths of being butterflies or vice versa. Just hate insects that get all up in your face. Daddy long legs, flies, moths, butterflies, wasps, bees... nooooooo

Dragonflies though :love: they're so cool to look at and they never come anywhere near you

would be great if we could just replace all animals with cats, like instead of vicious crocodiles hiding in rivers you had cats swimming about, and instead of spiders you had cats that liked to hide in corners, and instead of predatory sharks you had cats trying to ram boats and get people to fall in the water and everyone thinks it's really cute

I don't hold with killing stuff and really can't imagine why anyone would want to kill a moth. They're just like butterflies who've been working out. Man up... catch them in a glass and throw them out the window.
