Thoughts on the remote control task?

How does everyone feel about all the outside world contact during the last task? A few of them getting to see their relatives/partners and giving them the chance to speak to them too. tbh the first thing I thought when Dexters mom said "I'm not going to see you for a long time" was that was her way of saying to him, you're very popular on the outside. Also, Rylan and Judy James commenting on storylines too, I didn't like it, it was far too much information for the HMs.

Thoughts?

Wish people would calm down it's not like their quoting daily star headlines to them..

Did I come across as hysterical lol? I'm just posting my opinion on it, you're free to disagree with it

Just a cheap way for BB to make sure he has enough footage for the highlights show.
Personally I find the whole thing completely utterly ****ingly boring.
But I can see how it may appeal to the younger viewers
"hahajhsihsdkuhsdfkassdhahaha it was soooooo funni when big bro made dan put on like 10000 layers of sunscreen hahahshashha."

Yeah, i don't mind though and I don't mind them sending the guy with sheep in etc etc but people they know and Rylan and Judy james actually talking about stuff that's going is what bothers me about it

Yes it was the way you put the question mark at the end, did you need to be so dramatic? :joker:

Personally i dont think they should have any contact with family/friends coming into the house :nono:

Novo 18-07-2013 09:46 AM

i thought Dexter's mum said that because she lives in Greece and she doesn't get to come over often and that's why Dexter was so surprised she come over, the task was great though but they should have left out the housemates family, i didn't mind the Rylan and Judy James bit though, thought it was pretty funny when they were talking about the Charlie Dexter and Callum situation and it added more tension as well

I apologize, I'll remember that in the future ;)

I didn't agree with the family members going in and even more so particularly for the ones up for eviction whereas not all those up for eviction got a family member or friend in.
I didn't see that as fair.

The rewind part of the task though was hilarious at times, could have done with more of that.

Josy 18-07-2013 10:46 AM

It doesn't bother me the family members going in it's not as if they are having a full blown conversation with them.

I think Dexter's mum said that because she's from Greece and they don't see each other a lot, I'm sure he said they hadn't seen each other for over a year before that.

I enjoyed watching the task it was a good laugh and a nice change after all the drama there's been going on lately.

Cherie 18-07-2013 10:48 AM

I thought the task was good, some funny moments, but no way should they have passed it going on what we saw, the twins especially were always talking, even when Gina sneezed which she obviously couldn't control, one of them asked her to stop sneezing, not sure some of them got that they had to "freeze"

I liked the task, it reminded me of the one where they had to keep serious on another Series (can't remember which one) I just always hate when they do the contact with the outside world thing. The sheep bit was funny and also Dan having to keep rewinding and applying the cream was funny

Kizzy 18-07-2013 10:52 AM

Yes I think that the interaction is a step too far, Judy James even said on bots that jackie missed 'a massive hint' there, as she was tring to tell her that dexter was a bigger threat.....

I don't like the outside world contact either and the family members were able to hug the housemates and although get no response, were also able to say a fair bit to them.

I didn't agree with that and I especially didn't agree with Dexter and Jack and Joe,of the housemates up for eviction this week, getting their parent/s in while Jackie, Gina and Callum got no one at all.

As I said before, I loved the rewind part of the task though, that was overall really funny and also really well done too by the housemates to be fair to them all.

Computer is playing up so couldn't get online at all yesterday, so decided as I couldn't read the posts here, just to watch BB last night, and I must admit I found the task quite funny. Liked it :) And I apologise in advance now, but having seen the twins rather than read about them, or watch shortrtish youtubes clips, know they are a bit bitc*y, but I didn't mind them even though they are not popular on this forum.

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 18-07-2013 01:13 PM

Loved the task. Good entertainment. Yes some elements were like ignore the obvious but some bits were better. Ignore the obvious they could talk.

The rewinding over and over again was hilarious, especially when Dan had to keep going back to the diary room. Lol good fun. And The whole sheep thing hahaha, I definitely would not have been able to stay still at that especially if I had been alone in the living area like like Gina. Talk about a nightmare. :joker:

I agree that the outside world contact is not that bad. They're are not saying anything damaging, it's like letters from home but with a hug in it.

Instead of squandering his substantial wealth? on paying his on-call girls expenses he should buy his mother a plane ticket now and again.

As for the twins' question "are we being funny?" that was blatantly asking for confirmation that their game plan was working. They got the confirmation requested.

Hmm. Well, I think this is the reason for all tasks. They are there to produce a televison show after all.

anne666 18-07-2013 02:37 PM

Too far away as usual from the ethos of BB

Well my post wasn't commenting on that tbh since it hasn't yet been on the HL's.

I thought it was greatm the rewind was the funniest with dan having to put all that stuff on hahahahahah was funny, and you know what, i didn't mind and actually thought the family thing was good, the whole point of the task was to stay still in them segments how hard is it not to give a loved one a kiss and a cuddle, they never spoke about any true information. was good, loved the sheep. lol

GiRTh 18-07-2013 02:51 PM

Too much info for the HM's to work out what's happening in the show. I didnt like it.

Madlyaddicted 18-07-2013 02:53 PM

I loved it especially dan and the sun cream. Might've been better without family members though especially as the twins gave in and had a right old conversation with their parents.
