Charlie never ever defends her mother

I find it quite disgusting that Charlie never defends her mother and pretty much goes out of her way to support the other persons views, even when Jackie is right, which is most of the time.
Clearly Charlie is nothing more than an oversized ungrateful brat.

I cant actually think of one time when Charlie took the opposite side when Jackie was right. Infact I'm finding it hard to think of a time Jackie was right with one of her rants tbh

Scream 18-07-2013 09:53 PM

Maybe she doesn't like arguing and also Jackie has never been right

either way, would you join in with a randomer on a verbal attack against your own mum if she said something silly that you disagreed with?

If she was making a fool of herself (as Jackie does when shes on one) then I would have no problem telling her..or trying to chill her out. Which is what Charlie does..

With a mother like that, what the **** is there to be grateful for.

Donovan. 18-07-2013 10:13 PM

It's kind of refreshing. She doesn't join in on the attack against her mother, she just trys to get her to see the other persons perspective, even if they are wrong.

Its rude, she need to either defend her mother or defuse the situation. I find it completely disrespectful.

Her mother is still supporting her at 28 or what ever ridiculous age she is, shes lucky she wasn't kicked out at 18.
I certainly wouldn't still be supporting her, especially with her attitude.

Fed up with Jackie trying to control every aspect of what she does in there I suppose

Linto99 18-07-2013 10:24 PM

She doesn't defend her because she disagrees with her!

kate2013 18-07-2013 10:36 PM

Jackie is to fun, what grit is to snow.

So she'd rather her daughter date Dexter a man that gambles and organises prostitutes and has some weird sexual fantasies. No reflection on how entertaining I find Dexter to watch.

Than Callum?

I mean it isnt much of a choice but she supposedly has Charlies interests at heart.

She just moans......

This^^Jackie just seems to embarass Charlie,I think Charie usually tries to stop her in her tracks before she does.

Jackie's jaw (I call it Bruce) has steadily become more firmly set as she has lost her whakiness...I really loved her at the beginning but she can appear to be very disdainful and almost snooty at times. I have seen Charlie support her many times and beseech her to back off and be reasonable at other times. Jackie's jaw is definitely the barometer - when she sets it - watch out...Charlie has had a lot of experience dealing with Jackie - I wonder if she will make a bit of a twit of herself after her mother leaves though. I hope she doesn't...

She really wants that thresome. :joker::joker:

Razor 19-07-2013 07:16 PM

I see it more as Charlie is apologising for her mothers behaviour.

Livia 19-07-2013 07:17 PM

It's hard to defend in indefensible.
