The recent Charlie/Gina drama

Is it just me that thinks this or was everyone else in there over reacting about what Charlie said to Gina??

Vicky. 23-07-2013 11:40 PM

From what we saw, yes it was overreacting. Seems there was a bit more to it though going on what Sophie was saying :S

smudgie 23-07-2013 11:43 PM

Watching t on live feed, I thought it was a total over reaction.

Visage 23-07-2013 11:44 PM

Totally overreacting. I know things are quiet and boring for them, but they just didn't stop going in about something that wasn't really there.

Gina wants everything to be about her, getting boring now

I just thought she was either making it up for drama or didn't understand what Charlie was trying to say.

In this scenario she's the worst offender of overreacting.

JTM45 23-07-2013 11:48 PM

I think it was probably a case of it building to that because Charlie does say stupid things regularly without thinking about how they'll affect others.

I think there was more to it then we were shown. The housemates were all going on about it.

Made me laugh. The housemates spoke about it more than Charlie and Gina did. :joker:

Over reacting and seeking attention methinks from Gina

Yeah but we saw the actual conversation between Gina and Charlie outside, it was clear that Charlie was just trying to explain how attraction to another person can build up over a couple of weeks...

Sophie was trying to make it sound like Charlie had came right out and said something like "Gina you are ugly" :joker:

Kizzy 23-07-2013 11:59 PM

Nope she was not over reacting at all, it was edited really badly. Charlie did one of her now infamous backhanded compliments....
How long did she bleat about being 'misunderstood' afterwards?
Just shut up charlie, everyone is bored of your foot in mouthisms!

Sophie said that Charlie actually called Gina ugly, which was rubbish. We heard the convo Charlie had with Sam and she didn't say that... when Sam told Gina of the convo with Charlie originally HE didn't say she said that. Charlie explained exactly what she meant - in fact she was accused of over explaining it - but no wonder she felt she had to when Sophie seems to be putting words into her mouth.
I'm not keen on Charlie at all, but my goodness some HM's are making a 6 course meal out of a fairly innocent conversation and Sophie in particular appears to be relishing the feast.

I think Gina was right to be offended because Charlie didn't explain it well and it did sound as if she was calling her ugly, but I don't believe Charlie meant to be rude, just her usual thing of not thinking before speaking. I do think Charlie however doesn't help things by going on and on. What the highlights didn't show (which the showed on BBOTS last night) was Gina saying it is all good, but Charlie kept going on and on. I also think the housemates didn't help by going on an on with it, especially Sophie who was there for the whole thing, she said things that made it sound much worse.

I do think Charlie needs to think before she speaks now or she could end up being up and out soon, there is only so much people will tolerate her being naive.
