Absolutely nothing wrong with sucking your thumb in bed, it is a comforting habit.

Maybe when you are 5 years old not 29

I still suck mine occasionally, if I am stressed it helps me to go to sleep, comes from preferring my thumb to a dummy as a baby.:hugesmile:

I don't know though, maybe it's because I never sucked my thumb, I never even had a dummy. Mum says I detested the things.

Although I don't know what I do when I'm sleeping I'm very sure I don't suck my thumb, but I can see why some people might do that because its just a habit that can happen to anyone. So nothing wrong with her in my opinion.

My older sister sucks her two first fingers. My parents hate that she does it, and I never really understood it, but it's just something that she does when she's trying to relax. I don't even think she notices.

You wouldnt suck your thumb though if you were on national tv surely?

We are supposed to be watching them as they are. You no doubt begin to forget the cameras anyway.

If you you have sucked it for 27 years then you would/ could not break the habit just because the cameras are on you.

Charlies behaviour in general is very childish imo, the whole saying something stupid and acting like a kid afterwards is another example. I'm liking her less day by day since her mother left, she's gotten way worse

Yeah I would , to be honest I would find it really embarrassing and I would be ultra aware of myself. If I found myself doing it I would be mortified.

My 16 year old daughter still sucks her thumb occasionally and i have to say it really irritates me!!!

I'm 21 and I still suck my thumb in bed. I certainly have 'crazier' habits??
