Well it appears something really is going down with the live feed, they appear to have pulled the stream!

Apparently the feed isn't going to be able to work on VLC anymore, but I think you can still watch it via the C5 website.

They had a live test up earlier today.

False rumor. It's been tested since that started making the rounds, and VLC works just fine.

If you use the VLC feed, any time it's not actively broadcasting, you see the green background with the eye logo on it. The rumor most likely started because someone's VLC crashed and it wasn't loading the eye anymore. That combined with that YouTube makeover test video lit a spark that spread across twitter.
