wtf was the point in doing that!

It's basically just told the housemates everything on the outside world those producers are so stupid, that's just absolutely pathetic now the housemates know how they are percieved omg:nono:

GypsyGoth 25-07-2013 09:59 PM

It's stupid, maybe BB felt Gina needed a boost?

She is the only one who truly benefited from it.

Indy 25-07-2013 10:04 PM

The fallout on live feed last night was spectacular. They won't show any of it, but it was worth it watching the twins self destruct.

Josy 25-07-2013 10:04 PM

9000 people out of 1.5 million+ means nothing

True. If anything it's lulling a few of them into a false sense of security.

very true it was probs less than 9000 people, the website isn't that popular

Northern Monkey 25-07-2013 10:41 PM

Yeah,May give some of them a surprise when sht gets real.

thesheriff443 25-07-2013 10:43 PM

if I have not said it, it means nothing!

MTVN 25-07-2013 11:15 PM

Eh I think 9,000 is a pretty good sample size especially when those checking the website are gonna be the most likely to actually vote

chuff me dizzy 25-07-2013 11:16 PM

Most stupid thing ever on BB

CaudleHalbard 25-07-2013 11:17 PM

Opinion polls in politics are typically a sample of 1000-1500.

9000 is way more than is needed to give a good idea of voting intentions.

I really doubt that tbh, I think the biggest majority of the ones voting on the website (for free) are probably the ones that are less likely to pay for phone votes..

I know people that read nothing online at all about BB but yet vote in evictions every week.

Tozzie 25-07-2013 11:23 PM

somebody remind me not to watch BB next year, for gawds sake I'm in me mid 50s should I not have learned by now? Oh feck it, I like being an immature round the twist :crazy:oldy with no life. Roll on BB 15:D

Maybe, I still think 9000 is a pretty representative sample though, was mainly thinking like CaudleHalbard says that a lot of studies and surveys use a lot smaller sample for a far larger whole (like YouGov is the most reliable political survey but only polls about 2,000 people out of the whole population)

Hmm yeah fair point.

Scotty07 26-07-2013 12:52 AM

I am normally against anything like this, but I thought it was great.:D Have lost count at the amount of times I've watched it.

actor99 26-07-2013 01:24 AM

I too am 55. but yes. the HM. know who to go for. if they were cleaver. but if their close to then maybe they wouldn't do that. then theirs a twist. so god knows

the truth 26-07-2013 01:28 AM

poor decision its also killed the surprise for viewers too this is a pretty accurate cross section of voters

ConnieLingus 26-07-2013 02:11 AM

Gina got a boost.
Dexter got a boost.
Dan had his nose put out of joint a bit.
The Jabbas and Callum got humiliated by Dexter being so far ahead of them.
Hazel had to stand like an eejit in bottom place throughout.

It was full of win.

yes it was funny from that point of view but id rather wait for evictions and final for the full effect

daniel-lewis-1985 26-07-2013 11:34 AM

Made me so angry.

joeysteele 26-07-2013 11:46 AM

For me it could have been a series killer.
However the only thing about it is, that after this twist is revealed tonight and after whoever goes out of the house, they may get further paranoid thinking was the popularity poll also just a big lie too.
Thereby wondering where any of them really stand with all up in the air again.

anne666 26-07-2013 11:56 AM

I agree BUT the joy of watching the reactions of the smug , the fantastic excuses found ,helped me get over it very quickly.
