Hazel - Deluded or No Self Awareness?
 

When Hazel was badly boo'd along with the get Hazel out chants she actually said (in a conversation with Dan) that it was probably Gina's friends and family booing her :joker:

Then tonight she's convinced herself that she's hated because Gina hates her.

Rather a simplification based on a throwaway comment... situation normal.

She(and Dan) thinks Gina and Dexter were bad mouthing her in the safe house and that turned the public against her.I think she's just trying to figure out why she's not liked.

Not just 'a' throwaway comment.

On both occasions that she's got wind of the publics perception she's shifted the blame to Gina.

Something that seems like a massive issue to us from viewing the show will be nothing more than a few mins in their entire day. We've just seen a magnified version of the situation with Daley.

Gina did her bit when it came to ripping Hazel apart. Gina's very good at getting all righteous about other people's actions and comments... but she doesn't hold back when she's having a good old bitch in the diary room. I'm waiting for BB to turn their attention to her and hopefully play some of her comments back to the housemates. She's not all sweetness and light, she's a devious cow.

Hazel doesn't know that Daley's girlfriend was interviewed on BOTS.

Why not talk about how well she's taking things? The gunge, her talks about being unpopular, or not even reacting to Charlies comment about it being her last couple if days.

I think I'll ignore your suggestions and just go ahead and make threads on what i'd like to discuss.

There's speculation then there's blame shifting and who said it was wrong? I just want to discuss what might be behind it. If that doesn't sit well with you then you could always start a thread about the gunge.

How do you know she wasn't scared? wouldn't you be in that situation?.And he got the chop mainly I think for assaulting her, cos, y'know, it's illegal.

Even if she -was- flirting, the only time he actually got forceful with her was when he was in a bad mood and decided to assault her; he could've told her to get lost before that but never did,just talked about having an erection, lying with her, hugging her,getting hugs off her......

This is all old ground with entrenched positions.

The voting public have made their feelings clear whatever anonymous folk on internet forums may think.

Hazel is seen as the villain of the piece and even she knows it now.

True. I didn't know they'd kissed,I think people -thought- they'd kissed when they were in the s.h, under a blanket. I still think she's getting a raw deal because he was in the relationship and he had responsibility -to- that relationship, not Hazel but she seems to be taking the Lion's share of the blame.

she's both deluded and lacking in self-awareness - the two go hand in hand for an unpleasant manipulative narcissist which is what she is.

I'm just looking forward to her being out of the house I really want her to give her side now to stop all the speculation and finger pointing.

Agreed but I don't think it helped that she was made immune. I think people felt cheated and this has festered with the all these twists getting in the way of voting her out.
