Fantastic news. Only tempered by Emma's grovelingly supportive interview - probably the most biased interview she has ever given. No mention of his bitchy sh*t-stirring week after week conveniently timed near the nomination.

Also no mention of his complete misjudgement of Hazel. Just lots of glossing over it and talk about how good his judgement was. Makes me sick. One of the most overrated HM's in BB history.

I'm delighted to be honest. No doubt we'll get called idiots for having this opinion though.

Oh I well, don't you worry about that. There are still several big characters in there. Dan fans need to accept that their precious HM is not the only interesting one that people want to watch. I will love watching Dexter, Callum's creepiness, Gina being Gina. There is plenty still to enjoy. In fact, now that Mr Bitch has been kicked out, there will be room for other HMs to come to the fore.

I'm glad he has gone, not because I don't like him but because he always guessed things right. He took away the surprise and everyone "knew" what was gonna happen before it did and that IMO ruins part of the show.

He spent alot of time with Hazel since the very first night. He likes her, she sees her for what she is. Hazel hasnt told anyone in there the exact details of what happened in the safe house. If the guy likes Hazel and sees her the way some of us see her you cant say he has misjudged her. After all he KNOWS her, has spent six weeks with her, confided in her, advised her, seen her in real life. The people who dispise her have just seen an hours edited hightlights show every night and a bit of live streaming. I will miss Dan and I dont think he deserved to go tonight.

As you say he has been with her 24 hours a day 7 days a week now. he will know her better than most now.
Also really there is only Gina who is likely against Hazel strongly in the BB house now.

I sooooooooo agree with the OP, Dan is a 'SlimeBall' and I am so pleased that he has been evicted - probably the best eviction this year.
