Your worst holiday experience?

What is your worst holiday experience ever? All my holidays abroad have been good; but I once went on a camping trip that ended in disaster! We arrived in Norfolk to go camping for a few days- the first day was good but the second ended awfully. The tent was situated on a cliff edge and the winds were strong. The tent was battered and it collapsed, bits flew everywhere all over the campsite. My Dad had gone out to get some food so me, my brother and stepmum at the time were left clinging on to a shell of a tent. It was completely broke so we had to sleep in a £40 per adult a night permanent tent- my Dad was furious we had to pay it! We looked around town the following day to find a tent but there was none available strangely so we had to go home after 2 days.

I can't say i've had any bad experiences with a family holiday yet though something pretty unfortunate happened on a school trip to Paris in Year 7. I was the last to arrive to school before we set off so the only seat left for me on the coach was next to a teacher. It was an overnight trip, and at one point I woke up really disorientated then randomly threw up everywhere. Once i'd finished, I realised I threw up all over the teacher. I then had to wake him up... to tell him i'd threw up on him. I was mortified  to make matters worse he was my Biology teacher for the next 4 years of school. I've never been able to look him in the eye since.

I took my two kids then 5 and 18months on hol to skegness butlins in 98, it was a horrible summer and we all got tummy bugs from the cruddy half board food on the last day... I don't know HOW I managed to pack and get us all home ON THE TRAIN. It was a total nightmare,
