I've loved CBB since the move to Channel 5 (even CBB11, mainly because of Speidi) so I'm looking forward to the new one.

I'v enjoyed CBB a lot more than regular BB since it's been on C5. CBB9 and 10 were fantastic  but then again CBB8 and 11 were complete ****..

Jack_ 03-08-2013 02:47 AM

The problem isn't with the quality of the CBB's, it's the quantity of them. It's totally over exposed, you only need one celebrity and one civilian series a year, they just keep churning them out for the sake of it and it's so ****ing tedious and it takes the shine away from what is, always has been and always should be the main event...the civilian series

January's CBB should be extended to the four weeks it used to be (perhaps even five if they love it so much), and BB should return to 13 weeks

I agree, I've enjoyed the CBB's on 5, but it's the rate that they are being aired. Long-term, it isn't going to do the show many favours, because people will begin to switch off. And, like you said, it isn't right that everybody forgets BB14 and starts going on about some blonde girl from Made in Chelsea..

Macie Lightfoot 03-08-2013 04:38 AM

CBB right after BB is tiring, but I'd actually rather have that than more BB. 13 weeks is too goddamn long. 9-10 weeks is the perfect length, I couldn't imagine this series or last year's going on for 13 weeks.

Lorenzo carried last summers series but it was still pretty poor on the whole

CBB10 is overrated it was a **** series

I sort of agree, though i can't hate the fact that there are two CBB's a year because I love the show.. If they went back to having one a year but extended it to 4/5 weeks, I'd be happy with that

Celebrity Big Brother is over used. We've had 4 series already since Big Brother moved to Channel 5 in 2011. We'll be on our fifth series come CBB12. It's just too overused and CBB10 was a poor series.

CBB9/CBB11 were enjoyable though.

CBB10 was soooo good!!! Can't believe the hate, especially the people saying 11>10

I can't enjoy a crumpet with no butter

Jake. 03-08-2013 05:40 PM

I also preferred CBB10 tbh

user104658 03-08-2013 06:13 PM

I couldn't get into 10 purely because it was right on the heels of the main series... Which really did build to a "peak" towards the end last year. It was just hard to get excited for a new beginning straight away. I need a few weeks break, at least!

I completely agree with you.

Macie Lightfoot 03-08-2013 06:54 PM

10 was certainly better than 11 (not that that says anything) but it was still poor. A good half of the cast was deadweight, and HMs like Julie and Danica had their obvious flaws that made it hard to care about their storylines and invest in them. The first six days were good but that's about it.

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 03-08-2013 07:35 PM

CBB9 > all

pantsgate

Black Dagger 04-08-2013 01:07 PM

CBB9 has been the only decent CBB on C5.

And I'd much rather have just 1 series a year, 2 is pathetic.
