Callum is a 'David Brent' character, so why isn't he more popular...
 

..don't we the general public love characters like that..yeah, Callum is self delusional ..he doesn't see how irritating he can be to the other housemates or to us and he does seem to try too hard, so I think sometimes it comes across as insincere..but I think that's just him and there doesn't seem to be any harm in him..yeah, he bitches and especially doesn't like Dexter, but the other housemates bitch and the feeling seems mutual between Dexter and him..(and I'm a Dexter fan..)....one is as bad as the other...

..why do you think he is so unpopular when we like the more unique characters..?...

I thought it was quite amusing last night on LF with Dexter droning on endlessly and Callum sitting back, trying to suppress a smile and saying "Mm mm mm.......". :D

I just think he has a bit more of a serious personality and truly is the type of person who tries to be nice to people all the time. It may come across as awkward due to the fact that he is trying to be nice to people he doesn't necessarily like.

Once Dan said there was something off about him it became like a lynch mob effect both in and out of the house.

..I'm not sure that he does though..he doesn't like Dexter and doesn't pretend otherwise then bitch in the diary room..with the others, there may be times when they irritate him, that would be normal but on the whole he could genuinely like them...
