Anyone like the Doors?
 

Is there anybody here that really likes the Doors? I find them so unique sounding, I'm only 24 so I wasn't born when they were around but I bet I would never have forgotten one of their gigs if I went. :spin:

Also I don't really believe in wanting to be somebody but if I ever did it would have to be Jim Morrison. He had it all!

What's your top 3 songs and favourite album?

My favourite album has to be their debut album although L.A Woman is a close second.

Top 3 songs are Light my Fire, L.A Woman and probably Changeling.

My top 3 songs are People are Strange, Touch Me and Break on Through. favourite album, probably Strange Days

Have you watched The Doors film? It's pretty good, Val does a good job portraying Jim I think

Hell yeah, I've got it on DVD. If I didn't know any better I would have thought it was actually Jim himself back from the grave.

I loved the bit where they were out in the desert and he follows that Indian guy from his childhood memories then it just seamlessly transitions to them playing at that club before he says he wants to roger his mother! :joker:

those three all probably all in me top five sons along with Roadside Blues and People are Strange

I have a t-shirt with Jim's face on it but I'm not really clued up about their music. I'm one of those people I hate :laugh:

Roadside blues kicks off the Morrison Hotel album perfectly.

Summer's Almost Gone = my favourite song of theirs.

I find it hard to get into that one, I prefer the more up tempo ones.
