Can they do a double without telling the public?

Just wondering can they do a double eviction without telling us?

People might not vote for like the twins for example if they're trying to save Hazel if they knew it was a double because it's highly likely that she will go in a single anyway. If it's a double she'll definitely go so people might not waste their money trying to save her.

Have they not told the public before?

They could evict a Hm then re open the phone lines for an additional eviction.

They have done it before as far as I can remember

In a way - they usually would of let us know in advance though, Dermot would of announced it on Wednesday's BBLB.

I don't think they have. I think legally they have to let the viewers know exactly what they're voting for before they open the lines

Its usually announced if its a double .

Scotty07 30-07-2013 03:33 PM

I can't remember them ever not telling us.

Samm 30-07-2013 03:33 PM

If they did a double there woul only be like 7 or 6 HMs left

I think they need to tell us when lines open? As people would vote differently f they knew it was a double

I believe, hope and am sure you are right on that. We need to know so we can vote to evict 2 not one housemate, it makes the whole voting entirely different from a single eviction.

I don't think they would miss an opportunity to promote a double eviction.

Evictions are such an audience puller that they would probably relish at the thought of a double, with plenty of promotion around it.

If they didn't tell the public about a double eviction and people actually voted then BB would probably be cancelled, and the producers would probably get into a hell of a lot of trouble for fraud, and Ch5 might as well but I'm not too sure on that one.
