Day 48: Callum takes trash talk too far

Earlier this evening, Cowboy Callum faced his nemesis, Dexter the Devious, in an epic battle of steadiness that we called the 'Flinch Off', which saw the competitive Cowboy crowned victorious and the House win 25 per cent of the budget.

But before the drama unfolded in the ring, the real battle was fought behind the scenes in the dressing room, as the duo took full advantage of the time alone to trash talk each other. Callum in particular went all guns blazing, letting Dexter know exactly what he thought of him.

However, reflecting in the bedroom after the challenge, Callum confessed that he may have over-stepped the mark.

"I know I went off the deep end... but that's how I feel. That's how I react when I feel someone is being condescending," he said.

The man on the receiving end of his tongue-lashing had similar thoughts.

"It just astonishes me that someone would go that deep," Dexter told Hazel.

It seems a few truths have been aired today that won't help the Dexter/Callum relationship. Even though Callum has vowed to apologise to Dexter later this evening, we have a feeling this won't be brushed aside in a hurry.

callum keeps trying to use big words and keeps pointing the words out to people so they know he is using them to express that he is smart lol its very sad but he really knows dex has him sussed and he cant stand it. he cant compete ,

funny thing is dex is very easy going they could of been friends. still could but callum has just got obsessed that everything in his life is dexters fault lol,
all cause he foiled his game plan.
which funny enough again was dan not dex who done that .

Callum's an embarrassment.

"I like to let people talk, who like to talk, to find out how full of **** they are" is he describing himself here? What an absolute tw*t.

Dexter remaining mostly quiet did make me laugh - he just let Callum dig his own hole there.

Callum is so useless at taking him on :joker: makes himself look stupid. Dex doesn't have to do anything. :joker:

That was class to watch. Both going at it, finally saying what they really think of each other.

Callum saving Hazel from eviction if he keeps this up. :joker:

Notice how Callum never really makes eye contact when speaking. He is either looking off into the middle distance or looking around constantly.

In that video where did you see dexter making eye contact? He was playing with hes stick. And callum was drinking water. Be fair. Please.

He's learnt nothing from yesterday, he was nominated twice yesterday for not letting people talk.

i think he should leave it would do him good. for his own sanity he was ragin in that n keeps holding it back

That was brilliant, he talked rings around him and it's true he is stronger on his own than they are together.

Callum actually doesn't care dexter was 3rd on that list. He doesn't care dexter is popular, hes saying what he thinks to dexters face. If he had been saying all dis behind dexters back you guys would be crying. I dont get how callum went personal. Everything he said was to do with dexter in the house. At least he didnt say "i want to carve your face open"

I'm very stoned at the moment and watching that was just ten times more awesome and deeper - so I'm not sure if it's as good as I'm thinking right now.

But, Callum completely owned Dexter in that - Jesus. That was so good to watch.
