Big Brother gun raid ordeal

The 28-year-old said he still suffered nightmares after thugs threatened to shoot him during a raid on holiday.

Dexter confessed everything to his housemates as he tried to explain his “strange and guarded” behaviour in the house.

He admitted that the incident, which happened in Portugal, left him “freaked out” and crippled by anxiety attacks.

Reliving the attack he explained: “Some guy got in the car. He had a gun and put it against my head.

“Because I was wearing a suit, they thought I was the one with the money.

“There’s nothing like having a gun in your face though to give you nightmares.

“I was freaked out, my mates saved me.”

As the rest of the house listened in shock, Dexter went on to admit it had a huge impact on him.

He added: “I was having anxiety attacks a few months ago when all that stuff came out. I remember being at an interview and I couldn’t speak, I was getting agoraphobia.

Sounds like BS to try and win some winning votes to me.I mean why's he suddenly pull that one out so close to the final.

What I don't understand is that we all know Dexter is an interesting HM. He even provides tender moments now and again and is a marmite character. He has decided to use the show as a platform to forge some kind of future for himself and he is getting the attention and votes he needs but.........When he comes out, who the hell is going to trust him wuth their money or company. He has more faces and disguises than a mirror ball and nobody knows who he really is. I think he is just a well tuned confidence trickster but he may very well be a cold and calculated lying freak that needs locking up. Either way he will have a hard time making a living on the back of what he is showing in the house unless it is in a context of being portrayed as a media fool like Jedward

The daily star is a somewhat unbelievable paper but remember this....they are subject to the same regulations as all the other tabloids and broadsheets. They are also open to law suits and the like. I doubt they would print deliberate lies just to sell a few rags. It is more than likely a figment of Dexters imagination leaked to provide maximum exposure for himself.

It's also the PR machine for BB so I take anything printed in it with a pinch of salt I'm afraid.

Daily star tabloid bollox of the highest order. I find myself struggling to care about the truth. Never mind this old cack

Marmalite 08-08-2013 08:52 AM

Err ... you can't "start" to get agrophobia and OCD and then it suddenly disappears just like that, without any help or assistance.

.... and to top it all off, a couple of months later he appears in front of a screaming and baying crowd to take part in a game show on tv where millions will tune into you and you will constantly be in a crowd of people where there is absolutely no way of getting out of it or away from the others.

LMAO if he actually did say this!

Slightly misleading thread title.

Good PR if you are after the sympathy vote...but doesn't wash with me, mainly because Dexter is in the business and knows how to manipulate a situation, good or bad.
