Dexter has not been on a journey, he has not undergone a transformation

, or any of the other crap.

Remember in the safe house. He told Gina that the public loved someone who had been on a journey and transformation etc.., that is why they would love her.

Now Dexter is playing that card, it is just weird to look at. I haven't seen any change from when he came in. He's just saying it right now, because he think that the public loves a "journey".

CaudleHalbard 11-08-2013 06:14 PM

There was never a journey for him to go on!

But, I guess it's all part of his game plan - which seems to be working out well... at long last. Soon be favourite to win I suspect.

Kizzy 11-08-2013 06:15 PM

This has been the best hand he's ever played...

sampvt 11-08-2013 06:16 PM

Poor Dexter suffers from a condition known as "Pseudologia fantastica" The lad need help.

Novo 11-08-2013 06:17 PM

He has been on a life changing journey, he came in a Pimp and he'll leave as the people's Champ

Brother Leon 11-08-2013 06:25 PM

You sound worried x

daniel-lewis-1985 11-08-2013 07:28 PM

Yeah its all crap.

He talks about it to much for it to be remotely natural.

Its going to be embarrassing watching Emma banging on about his journey when she interviews him.

smudgie 11-08-2013 07:37 PM

I really don't get any of this "been on a journey" crap. Unless they mean on holiday.

anne666 11-08-2013 08:06 PM

And your point is ?

smeagol 11-08-2013 08:08 PM

another dex bashing thread with no substance he must be close to winning lol

Winkie Expand 11-08-2013 08:09 PM

He's had the "journey" crap planned since the beginning. He even said as much to AJ in the pre-house interview.

He has a phony book called "The Pretender" slated for release after the show ends, so he'll probably be revealed as an "actor"/"pretender" in the house and his journey will have been how far he made it in the house in that capacity.

Ugh.

:joker:, He is the only HM to remotely deserve it so I do hope so.

Kyle 11-08-2013 08:11 PM

It's the most obvious ploy you could see he was going to try that since day one.

And what makes him deserve it? The fact he lies a lot? Made up a story to make himself sound interesting?

God forbid we ever believe that any HM in history has ever lied apart from Dexter:joker: He deserves it IMO as he has provided entertainment, been mercilessly picked on by most, has survived eviction every time and still NEVER huffs around like a baby.A GOOD HM.:dance:

joeysteele 11-08-2013 09:50 PM

I believe he can still win and I also accept he has learned things about himself in there. You must after 8 weeks of being in the BB house, being up for eviction every time yet still be there and be able to have chats with a wide range of other housemates.

He isn't my choice to win and he is a total fantasist but he has had a journey in there of emotions and learning how to cope with things definitely.

johnx 12-08-2013 10:51 AM

Saw him about to wax lyrical about his journey when Charlie made it about her journey and his little face dropped. He's been dropping the J bomb all over the shop-so predictable.

He's been on a journey from a fake,manipulative little weasle to a conniving,lying pillock.

sampvt 12-08-2013 11:06 AM

Fooking journey, what fooking journey. His spindly little legs have been mincing round the house for weeks now plotting and scheming his way to the final. He is hated in the house that's why he is up every week and now he has some bomb dropping reason for something else he lost to come in the house. he is a twat with more stories than Jackanory and everything from his designer penis to his rent boy days are nothng more than stories for this attention seeking little *****. He is a liar and a conman and deserves fook all. He makes my blood boil but the only saving grace from me is that I dislike Gina even more.

johnx 12-08-2013 11:09 AM

With his team of attractive PR ladies on the outside-pretending to be his GF,friends or "colleagues."

I think he/his character suffers from severe narcissism. He's not the only one who has been in the house for 8 weeks and by that definition they have all been on their own "journey".

It's not like he was dropped out in the middle of the wild to fend for himself against a pack of lions. It's the ****ing Big Brother house.

I agree completely with the first part particularly, they all have been on a journey in there and all of them will have learned something as to themselves that they maybe didn't think they were like before or as tohow they have acted at times too.
We all go on journeys learning about ourselves no matter what we may be doing or where we are going or for how long.

However,in the BB house, freedom is virtually gone, days are planned for you not by you,you have no choice of the people with you usually.
You are in effect cotrolled to a degree as to behaviour and any time really alone is rare.
In that very artificial environment you must learn things as to yourself you never knew before.

I personally believe, sitting in our chairs at home watching BB,we cannot possibly take in just what being in there must be really like.
I really don't believe anyone can really prepare themselves for what life will be like in the BB house.
For me that is the fascination with it all.

Slevin 12-08-2013 03:58 PM

i never got on the journey crap with any HM. even if many were bringing that up with someone i liked.

Tregard 12-08-2013 04:02 PM

£100k will do him good, then.
