Sam and Sophie - same fan-base?
 

Alot has been made of the fact that they nom each other as they recognise that generally speaking they are the 2 nicey wiceys of the house and therefore appeal to same 'fan base' but I no longer think this.

Sam will appeal to teenie bopper 1D fans, eager for a cut price Harry Styles plus he has the Welsh vote.

Sophie will siphon off the sizable Josie Gibson, relateable 'real woman' vote.
Different voters.

Sophie is more Bitchy witchy than nicey wicey.

Sam is my favourite and Sophie is in my bottom 3 , they may have had similar fan bases at one time but I don't think they have now.

there's not much in it...they have both been largely boring housemates, ..Sophie to a slightly lesser extent, but her 'few' interesting bits comprise of 'almost' standing up to Dan and Sam, wrongly laying the boot into Dexter over the 'Wolfy Cigarette debacle and a fair amount of stirring!...Sam?...?...well nothing really!...and this isn't going to be popular..[the truth rarely is!]..but Sam's disability will swing it every-time!...Sophie doesn't stand a chance against an advantage like that! :nono:

True, there is a lot of 'aww, poor Sam' on Twitter whenever his hearing is discussed.

I know Alex, i've got nothing against the lad personally.[in fact he reminds me of at least two of my grandkids] but without the disability I doubt that he would have even gotten in the house in the first place...never mind survived any eviction from the amount of entertainment he has provided!...Am I being insensitive when I suggest that instead of two cbb's per year , there should be an alternative Big Brother [a la' Para-olympics] every year with disabled contestants?....i'd watch it...would you? :thumbs:

Yes they have the same fan base -- the audience that prefers to watch pain dry and nothing to happen in the house. This is usually referred to as the Rachel Rice faction.

I am a supporter of Sam but no way Sophie.
I actually enjoy watching Sam, he could have done more but he has had his moments too.

Sophie, has turned into a truly awful gossip and tell tale, even worse since her connection to Gina, no way would I support Sophie except over Charlie whereas I would support Sam over all of them that are left now.

Imagine if that happened? 16 housemates with the same sight problem enter the house and all are odds on fave to win from day one.
Bye the 3rd day the clear fave would be revealed as the one with the thickest lenses.

I actually like Sam but agree that he doesn't do much. He just doesn't try at all and seems to be taking a vacation in there.

Sophie's more like the girl who sits back and watches the others, then comes out of nowhere and goes, "OMG did she really just say that? Like, for real?" And then she drifts back into the shadows while hell breaks loose.

I dont like Sophie, shes got her head too far up Ginas backside for my liking, but LOVE Sam the man

dont think sam has a fan base he hasn't for 2 months. no one seems to be liking him for his housemate status entertaining ways or personality.

sophie prob has the housewife vote. she acts a lot older than she is ,amazing she is 21 does she know the meaning of the word fun
