can someone please explain what a journey is

If we go to town we take a bus and that's a journey. If we travel abroad we go on a journey. These nobs in the house (collectively speaking) seem to think they are on a journey. WHAT THE FOOK IS A JOURNEY IN THERE.

Are they talking about the walk to the crapper or the steps to the DR. I am confused. They signed up for a reality show not Sgt Peppers magical mystery tour. It is a social experience that culminates in the biggest nob being presented with a pot of gold and 15 mins of fame.

I get so pissed off when they try to cover it up with things like ''I came in here to find myself'' LOOK IN THE FOOKING MIRROR, the evidence is there. Plus anyone over the age of puberty that doesn't know who he or she is needs sectioning. You don't go on tv in front of millions of people in a vain attempt to find out who you are, YOU WILL GET EATEN ALIVE DICKHEAD. The place to discover yourself is at night under the covers.

The amount of crap people like daley, Charlie and of course Dexter have come up with relevant to finding themselves this year is fooking rubbish. Get a grip kids and give us some credit. You are in there for fame and money and probably cant function in real life so theres the rub and the JOURNEY.

Like I said elsewhere, buy a train ticket if you want to go on a journey!

They are referring to a spiritual journey, its a text book thing people in reality shows use to manipulate the viewing public. Dexter for example is using it perfectly, he went in a misanthrope and is emerging as a beautiful people loving butterfly. It creates a story and anyone that uses it should be kicked in the tits.

An emotional journey-it's when someone starts with certain ideas, hopes, prejudices and over the course of the show, those ideas etc, get challenged and the person ends up with a different "mind set".

smeagol 12-08-2013 03:28 PM

it sounds sad all the journey stuff but people go through life never stopping long enough to look around to see who they are where they are going whats behind etc they are too busy doing their jobs or plodding along.
bb is a good place to find out who you are cause of how you cope and react to people and situations and there is tons of time to think of the future past etc. hence going on a journey. loads go in there as a way of kick starting there lives again as they are in a rut, bit like dan giving up his job he wanted something more. thats some journey. others is confidence etc.

its a cliche saying but its real enough at least for those that think a lot.

If I was sent in there I would go in and say ok guys, I am a pain in the arse and I am here for the money and maybe some spin off things but its a game and twats watch out. I would vote for someone like me, wouldn't you. Anyone looking to go on an emotional journey on a tv program that dissects your personal life needs sectioning. I just don't get how the GBP can vote for dickheads with a plan that virtually stinks of a massive con to get to the pot of gold, a little like dex and gina for example.

I think it's when a hm goes in an arsehole and comes out an arsehole after duping loads and loads of people into believing they have somehow transformed themselves in 8 weeks.

Yes the only journey involved is the ride they take the public on:joker:

I really want to thank you smeagol.

I typed up some of what I thought as to answer this and it was clearly going to be a very long post indeed.
I then flicked through the other answers and found you have said just about all I had and was planning to add but you have done it in a far more concise way than I would have done.
Nice one.

Chuckyegg 12-08-2013 04:17 PM

It's when a moron participates in a reality tv show and towards the end of the show they have transformed into an annoying moron.

Lets be honest. If it wasnt for Glee nobody under 25 would have ever even heard of them. :joker:
