Why are the housemates not reacting stronger to Dexter trying to steal the money?

His tactic was obviously to try and steal the money, but the other housemates chose the highest they could get. Why did no one call him out on it?

They are arent they... calling him the 'gameplayer'!!!

Kazanne 14-08-2013 10:53 PM

They are probably confused as some on here seem to be about the task

karezza 14-08-2013 10:53 PM

They are all hypocrites except Dexter.

Maybe there are some other videos. I only saw the video right after the task where they all talked and it seemed fine. I would have been so pissed off. It was obvious that he tried to get the 88 000 pounds.

Don't be silly, Dex doesn't need the money anyway. The amount left was the highest available one left to him.

I know :D I couldn't give two hooi what the rest of the conniving housemates who are up, think, just because they can't play as good a BB game as Dexter can, who was canny enough to suspect another twist might happen :) Dexter made the final, which he would have done anyway, but this way he can relax and watch the others up worrying for a change :D

Withano 14-08-2013 11:04 PM

To be honest, I think they might have all chosen the highest left on the board to look humble. I don't think anybody done anything wrong.

Care to explain, because just spouting expletives adds sweet bot all to the debate.

Vicky. 14-08-2013 11:06 PM

OK from BOTS it appears they all thought there was a twist with what they were told (lowest amount leaves with the cash) as soon as the task was announced

Make of that what you will ;)

cookiemonster 14-08-2013 11:06 PM

he wasn't trying to take the money, he was just intelligent enough to figure out bb was lying and whoever picked the least would stay. staying means more to him than leaving with the money. he's desperate to be loved remember

You could well be right, but it's fun to speculate about BB anyway :D

erinp5 14-08-2013 11:10 PM

just watched a clip on BBBOTS thetwins pick 96k and asked BB twice 'Is the money really ours'

After all the twists BB producers have laid at their feet so far this BB, yeah, of course that would have gone through all their minds, but Dexter played it best by taking the risk :) I actually think Charlie was being the greediest if anything in hoping for a twist to benefit her, and that is why she is so miffed with Dexter.

Yes I may explain. What I said was bull****. You can not see the last word, but it is the excrements of bulls. The reason I said it is because your post contained it. You said that Dexter chose the highest amount there was, this was a lie, and hence, it was bull****, what comes out of the bulls anus.

Cheers for clearing that up, I definitely know there's no valid response now.

How was what I said a lie... he was LAST to pick and that was the biggest one left.

CaudleHalbard 14-08-2013 11:24 PM

They ALL chose the highest amount left..... shock, horror! ;)

The twins didn't choose the highest because Charlie chose £99k after them, and they also asked in there for BB to confirm they would definitely leave with the money

Oh my god, you really struggle to see this don't you. It was not the biggest one left.

MatthewS 14-08-2013 11:30 PM

Wait, so when someone takes a number, does that number get taken off the board?

If so, doesn't that mean that by Sam taking 100K, Charlie 99K, and the twins 96K, Dexter was always going to have the lower number and therefor win? If that's the case, seems he's taking lot of flack because he happened to be the last to choose....
