Is BB exhausted?

Do you still believe BB is fresh and full of new twists and turns to come next series or has it become exhausted and needs some time to cool down?

I certainly think it needs a break from TV so they can think of a brilliant idea to bring it back with.. the twists and tasks have become awfully repetitive and it will give them time to right their wrong ... changing it to VTE. I certainly have no clue where they can go with it next year without it having a same inevitable boring end?

LemonPen 16-08-2013 10:06 PM

They should get Dexter to be in charge of the twists for the next series, he has a wild imagination lol

billy123 16-08-2013 10:06 PM

Chin up me owd just because an eviction didnt go the way you wanted its no reason to start going on about the validity of the show.

Josy 16-08-2013 10:07 PM

No I think the show is doing great and they have pulled it off to perfection this year.

Adamw92 16-08-2013 10:07 PM

Definitely exhausted.

Its starting to feel the same old, same old. I think it could do with a break but at the same time, what if it does have a break of lets say, 2 or 3 years then it comes back to barely even half a million viewers, it would be a disaster.

Something has to be done about who goes into the house though, every year we get 2 or 3 bores and almost every year the winner is a bore who has done nothing to warrant the win.

How do you know my mindframe, erm no? I've sparked a debate which I think is entirely acceptable on a BB DISCUSSION forum............:bored:

Ramsay 16-08-2013 10:07 PM

I think it would of been better for the show if it took like a 2 or 3 year break after C5 got it..but it's still good

Withano 16-08-2013 10:08 PM

I think more often than not the twists detract from the show. Theres nothing wrong with a task a week, a party a week, normal nominations once a week, the nominations reveal. etc. Theres no structure anymore. Everything seems last minute.

Joe. 16-08-2013 10:08 PM

More C4 standard twists pls-

ie house next door, golden tickets, house divide etc

Production definitely need sorting out, they've been abysmal this series.. from the last minute changes to the stuttering voice over woman, it's pathetic.

or a push toward a more bbusa style- even just having have/have nots would be amazing!

Northern Monkey 16-08-2013 10:09 PM

I think it would be good if next series we have a straight up BB,No silly twists.

Vicky. 16-08-2013 10:09 PM

No. I do wish they would lay off the CBBs though. Far too many of those, and they are ****e anyway :bored:

I'd definitely like to see us trying the BBUSA format just to see what it would be like.

They could be creative and think of something else instead of churning out the same ****ty types of CBB HMs twice a year... which is reaching the point of extreme boredom.

It would be perfect, especially because the british public would have absolutely NO control of who would go.

Braden 16-08-2013 10:12 PM

Well I'm definitely going to be exhausted after CBB's finished. Way too much BB for my liking. :joker:

The over the top editing is all I have a problem with tbh.

smudgie 16-08-2013 10:12 PM

No.

But I do think we should have a good few weeks off before CBB starts.

I remember last year, by the last week of CBB the forum was completely dead.

It would be brilliant I could imagine Hazel winning it with a BBUSA format. She was very sociable, backstabbing and also competitive in tasks. The public reaction to her winning would have been brilliant!

Would be perfect and all the dull people would have been out first most likely as the drama starters would be GOATs.

Shaun 16-08-2013 10:33 PM

there'll always be an interest for it, this forum's pretty much proof of that. So no, it's not exhausted. But it's out of fresh ideas, and being changed for the worse.

Yeah, plus those who aren't familiar with the format for the USA series could get a taste of it. I'd much rather them have a trial run of it instead of the inevitable CBB in January.

T* 16-08-2013 10:35 PM

I think Channel 5 has used every twist in the book on this series, it's become Twist Brother not Big Brother. It needs to go back to basics to get some more of the casual viewers back and new viewers.

Black Dagger 16-08-2013 10:37 PM

It's exhausted in the sense that their is very little credible new, exciting twists left to achieve, although C5 have had a couple, the actor and white room were unique (even if the white room got a ******** 50k), **** like friends and families nominations occuring 3 years in a row though needs to stop happening.
