Emma on Dexter

I applauded her tonight for calling out Dexter about the money twist...or rather I applauded BB's autocue and her delivering it with such conviction for it was obvious she felt the same...

Emma: "Dexter is sneaky, he knew what he was doing"...

Rylan "He went for the lowest"!

Emma: "Of course he did". (she expresses 'who did he think he was fooling face') "He knowssssssssss what he's doing"

LOL. Of course some will still insist he went for -

his lucky number....
he didn't see the 99k...
he thought someone would pick £1 to be selfless.

I LOVE common sense and good Bullsh*t radars. Well done Emma and BOTS.

Emma was good UNTIL she starred her biased comments against Dexter. She needs to realise the boundaries of being a presenter and fan. And she is too far on the 'fan' side which isn't right for a show like Big Brother.

MTVN 17-08-2013 01:11 AM

tbh Emma's always held a bit of a one sided and skewed perception of Dexter this series where she just states factually that everything he does is "game playing" or "aren't his real feelings" etc.

I mean she's not really critical with it or anything like that, but it's like she refuses to acknowledge any other view of Dexter in there

(I didn't see tonights BOTS btw)

Ramsay 17-08-2013 01:11 AM

Emma is the main presenter..she really should not be so biased

Jamie. 17-08-2013 01:11 AM

By all means, have favourites off screen, but don't try swinging the public perception on screen.

Theres surely a difference between being bias and discussing events that happen in the house, just because an event happens to make a HM look bad or good doesn't mean shes biased. Simply answered a question.

CaudleHalbard 17-08-2013 01:13 AM

Emma has claimed she likes Dexter.

Funny way of showing it! ;)

BigBuk 17-08-2013 01:17 AM

There should be no arguing that a presenter of any show with contestants shouldn't be biased when on tv, sure state what you think about them off screen, not on it, theres no arguing with that.

Brother Leon 17-08-2013 01:19 AM

In Emma's head the Twins and Sam are the lovely people and dexter is the game player. It's black and white to her and god forbid twins are exposed as being the bitchy twats they are about Dexter lol.

She claimed to like bb12 aaron, too despite evidence to the contrary

the_answers 17-08-2013 01:32 AM

Perhaps she's not frowning upon it but trying to point out that's it's part of the game ?

Seen her say this before.

jet 17-08-2013 01:37 AM

It wasn't bias though, it was the truth. Only hardcore Dexter fans thought otherwise so Emma (or BB) wasn't saying anything that would change anyone's mind either way.
If you are a Dexter fan, did Emma make you think that he -

1. DID see the 99k

2. DID NOT just go for his lucky number

3. DID NOT think someone would pick £1 to be selfless.

Well, Dexter fans?

the_answers 17-08-2013 01:53 AM

Even if he went for the money, SO WHAT ?!

Boring !

But everyone was saying he didn't. Over and over and over. So has it changed now to so what if he did? Well if it has, thank God common sense has prevailed and people have seen the light.

Well, Dexter fans?

How do you know that he did not just go for his lucky number? It's obvious he believes in luck, every eviction he always has that lucky charm in his hand. I'm the exact same as him, I have lucky numbers, charms etc.. You can't prove thats not his lucky number.

Shock horror.

Not from me it hasn't !

So I'll ask YOU again...

What does it matter whether he did lie and just go for the money ?

Wouldn't you ?

NO. And lies do matter.

Pick a lie....:joker:

He could be telling the truth, you dont know. He's a dimensional person, nobody knows what he is thinking. People are blinded by hate for Dexter that they always assume he has an interior motive, I could be blinded by love but I genuinely believe he was happy to be staying once he was told.

Rob! 17-08-2013 02:49 AM

Her interview with him will be interesting...

Ok fine.
So you think HM's shouldn't take a penny ?
Or is it only HOW you win ?

If so let me guess....

The winner of BB will have been completely honest over everything they've ever done in the BB house ?

Is that the idea ?

The winner should be perfect and squeaky clean ?
"gameplaying" should be banned ?!
They should take the oath before they enter the house ?

Bang on!

Some people forget it's a gameshow, morals & honesty mean nothing once you go in the house. You could be portrayed as a lovely innocent person in the house and be a prick off it, vice versa...

I was saying Dexter was lying about the three things Jet wrote to impress people. Dont be so sensitive!
