Why have there been no punishment this year for sleeping in the day?

Never mind sleeping in the day... Sam was in bed a full 40 minutes after everyone else yesterday...it was on the h/ls.

Because Sam is just as much a bore being awake as when he is asleep, so there's no point.

It's because ch5 do not want headlines of them picking on someone with a disability, it would be bad for the show.

I think the sleeping during the day rules were just a throwback to when there was a 24 hour live feed.
They havent bothered with it for a few years now unless there is something in particular happening in the house plus with the only live feed we have screening late at night its benificial to us for them to let them snooze if they want to during the day.

Exactly - they have plenty to fill an hour long HL show with so daytime sleeping / late mornings don't matter really... and it means they all have plenty of energy in the evenings when most of the "drama" goes down.
