Is Part 2 of the 'live' final recorded?

I have a sneaky feeling the winner will really be unveiled about 10pm.

Even that is 15 minutes behind.

And they're not gonna let everyone hang around till 11pm.

fingers 19-08-2013 07:24 PM

It will be leaked (who won, that is) around 22.15.

Jack_ 19-08-2013 07:25 PM

Yes, I explained this in my other thread. Show 2 will begin recording pretty much as soon as the first show is over, the winner will be known any time around 10:15ish I would've thought so I'd avoid the internet if you don't want spoilers.

It's a terrible, non-event schedule.

Don't avoid the internet if you prefer an early night!

Expect it to be, yes. The people who live at the nearby housing estate have to be up early in the morning so it's pre recorded.

Maneki-neko 19-08-2013 07:31 PM

Well thats ****ing lame

Vicky. 19-08-2013 07:34 PM

I suspect the votes arent going to open again between final two because of this.

jackc1806 19-08-2013 07:34 PM

If they have an 11pm deadline they may push it so start the show at 10.30 then finish at 11 on the dot

This is what's going to be interesting tonight, what they're going to do about the freezes.

Whether they close the lines at 10pm or leave them open till around 10:15 having to make lots of warnings that the lines will close while they're off-air is anyone's guess, I'd imagine they'll do the former though.

Which isn't going to give a lot of time for freezes and final two voting, so perhaps yeah it might close with three housemates left?

Well that guarantees a Sam win
I wish they'd do what they did in the past BB's & be like (assuming Gina is third) 'Gina you have been evicted, can you do me a favour & wait in there for 30 minutes'. Then re-open the votes & freeze them as soon as the show comes back on air, so it could have been pre-recorded atleast by 15m, with voting still open between the final 2

If this happens, Sam is guaranteed to win.

Will be interesting to see how its handled for sure

You would think that they would reopen as much as possible, as its more money for them

They need to be out by 10:45 - That's what we were told at the eviction for Wolfy

I think they want a Sam win so I won't be surprised if it happens

Everyone with phones will tweet who the winner is an hour before we hear it. What a disaster.

Probably, if people know the winner they won't watch.

jackc1806 19-08-2013 07:54 PM

Can't they like ask people to hand their phones in or like ban people tweeting and stuff?

daniel-lewis-1985 19-08-2013 07:57 PM

This is the most unexcited ive been for a final in years.

Its Monday night ffs the people who scheduled this are total knob heads.

Imagine being in that office and people actually thinking this was a good idea.

"Ooh I know, we have seen a steep increase in ratings and media interest this year so why don't we put the final on a night where everyone has work the next day and even better split it into 2 halves so that the winner leaks online early and the show ends at 11:30pm.....Brilliant".

Phones are strictly required to be turned off before entering the compound.

fingers 19-08-2013 07:57 PM

They could use a signal blocker, it would blank all phones within a certain distance of the Blocker.

Everytime ive been there ive had my phone on and people are taking videos and pictures.

jackc1806 19-08-2013 07:59 PM

I think they'll make extra efforts not to leak the result

Yeah, this is a new thing they introduced. When we went down they were extremely strict and photos were banned... it's ridiculous. I was like, Oh can I take a picture? And they were all strict and told us to turn our phones off and keep them off until we left the compound completely.

This was only last year.

People will have their phones on.
