Wrapping up the twist - the real truth about Dex ?
 

Thought I might as well come clean and say what I guess REALLY happened.

I think Dex chose low because he thought there WOULD be a "not really win the money" twist.

They were never gonna take £88,000 out the prize fund.

Think he knew this - and he did it for YOUR entertainment.

Think he also did it because he wanted the others who said they wanted to stay, to stay.

When he said "I took a risk..."

Think he meant there was a risk he would win the money and leave !
When he didn't really want to.
But he got it right and guessed BB wouldn't hand out £88K.

Sure he could have gone high, but think he wanted to act the villain to see if people could suss it or just to create great drama.
Had he have gone highest, his so called "bad guy" image would've been over !

Be honest, was NEVER gonna end with them all taking the highest - what entertainment would that have been ?...

Before, I thought he took the money myself when his eyes went in horror at "however..."

But now I look back think it was all pure theatre/acting/gamplaying (which as we know is always bad !)

Shows how brilliant it all was :)

Quite ironic he got slagged off for it all if you ask me.
But hey, Dex is the villain and lager drinking Sam is the good guy.

Anyway believe it or not it's up to you, just thought I'd share...

Idk I think he did want that money...he'd been getting boo'd a lot by the public, I don't think he thought he was gonna win anyways

He would have happily made up that bollocks with 88k in his pocket.

Oh yeah like they were gonna deduct £88K out the prize pool.

Nice theory, But i doubt it.He wanted the cash and he atleast thought there was chance he could get it.I don't blame him,I would have done exactly the same :)

I'd have gone for 40k and walked with it. Dex should've.

Yeah perhaps he might have.
We'll never know but somehow I don't think he'd have got it !

Guess he had to make it look half believable, like he chose a high number where someone might have gone lower than him.

Had he taken the £40K then he would definitely have looked like he was taking the money.
Not that I'd have any problem with it.
But obviously others do !

Wish they had given him the 88k he was more deserving than everyone else bar Gina .

Absolutely.

Dexter very much so wanted that money. But he didn't get it. :)
