If Sam's win is so terrible, then why did they evict Dan?
Viewers had an opportunity to evict Sam when he, Dan and Sophie were up -
BUT, they chose to evict Dan. In many ways the people who are complaining about last night's result, need to question themselves why they wanted Dan out. Presumably a Dan win would have been worse than a Sam win. |
Never complained about Sam, and Dan was my favorite housemate.
|
The second Sam opened his mouth against Dexter's phony game, Dexter's cult came out against Sam and twisted virtually every breath Sam took into something negative to try and discredit him. ONLY because he was a genuinely good guy who played the game without a lot of drama.
It's understandable that someone who likes Dexter would be threatened by a genuinely good guy like Sam because he's the guy that Dexter would so love to be seen as yet he's so consumed by his own ego and lies that he never could be. Actions, not words, Dex. :) This is likely what got Dan in trouble as well and, at that moment in time, he was the bigger threat. |
Also, I was gutted when Dan left. Really nice guy, a bit whiny but played the game much better than most in the house.
Would have loved to see him in the final! |

Dan was the target of a get Dan out situation,I know many people who liked Dexter and Callum too who voted to evict Dan.
That is why I hate vote to evict, when there are 3 or more housemates up, it is too easy to organise a get someone out scenario where their supporters can do little to really affect the situation. Even on here there was screaming to get the so called dullards out before but when Sam and Sophie and Dan were up, the calls were to vote Dan out not them. For me that was the worst week of the series when Dan went out, clearly in vote to save he would never have gone and certainly not that week. |
The reason Dan got evicted over Sam was because Dan had some haters.
He could be a very loud and opinionated HM at times, and some people had a problem with this. Sam avoided eviction because he had practically no haters - how can you hate on someone who hasn't done anything? So he basically got a free pass for being inoffensive and continued to sleep his way to victory. |

This 100% I couldn't agree more,well said! |
because Dan was an arrogant prick
|
There were 2 opportunites to vote Sam out missed, the 2nd one almost came off with just 2% between himself and Sophie, Dan really shouldn't have gone over either Sam or Sophie but it is a lesson that is never learned, the interesting ones get kicked out early on. At least we got it right with Dexter.

Dan was a huge loss to the house, he should have been there till the final
|
A Dan-win would be even worse.
|
Dan had been visible, big mistake !!!!!!
|
We actually knew who Dan was!!!!!!, that's why he went.
|
was disappointed how he went. But in the end dan was too much of a copper endlessly interrogating people in a pretty rude intrusive manner. good entertainment for a while, but created an unpleasant atmosphere. people also became way more inhibited with him around.
|
Cause Dan was a visible, interesting, active and sometimes contriversial housemate and Sam was invisible and very uninteresting. Being uninteresting is a good strategy in vote to evict most times.
|
Because against the bores the bigger candidates always goes - in a vote to save that week Sam would have gone
And all those Dex haters and Sam lovers - you had every week to get Dex out but didn't ? |
How can spell those words when he does not know his alphabet at aged 23
|
Dan left because he was up against two bores, whereas he had actually done stuff. The problem with VTE.
