What dexter really did!!!

Lets see.

week one or two..sallie, dexter you ssssssnake...dexter sits and says nothing.

week 3or 4 dexter attempts to pull hazel(smirk)..hazel puts him down with ease, calling him a knob or something...dexter says nothing...

inbetween this sophie calls him a prick or something like that telling him she hated him..dexter says nothing in return...

dexter goes into safe house and promises to do so much when he comes out the safe house after watching the other housemates....he comes out and decides instead to get into the most ridiculous love triangle of all time...and says nothing apart from hazel being nominated more times than she was..

dan pulls him up on it....dexter says nothing.

callum and dexter bounce off eachother and argue...dexter has a go back, perhaps because callum was not liked in the house..or am i too cccccccccccynical!!!!!!

sam pulls dexter up 4 times about differing things...dexter says, you are entitled to your opinion sam, or"whatever sam"

last 2 weeks, dexter spends his evenings in the most tedious of discussions going round and round in circles with charley:sleep::sleep:

DEXTER, champion of the silent seethe, or the see through gameplan..

And this is supposed to be in some peoples eyes one, if not thee best ever bb housemate.

get a flamin grip..he was hopeless and coasted through on the coat tails of gina!!

Cherie 21-08-2013 10:35 AM

You're entitled to your opinion, whatever Parmi. :hmph:

Lister of Smeg 21-08-2013 10:44 AM

Coasted ??? He was up for eviction everytime he could be nominated.

Marmalite 21-08-2013 10:46 AM

He cried a lot as well!

RichardG 21-08-2013 10:46 AM

Si.

karezza 21-08-2013 10:54 AM

What Sam did:

1. Silently seethed or bitched with creepy Callum for 2 months
2. Spent 20 hours a day in bed
3. Constantly bit his nails and gave Dexter evil looks
4. When he opened his gurning mouth it was to make sexist/vulgar comments or tell moronic jokes.
5. Played in the pool with the fat boys
6. Came to life and confronted Dexter
7. Won by default because the public turned against Gina because of destructive editing

Some good points in the OP actually, just goes to show that entertainment is definitely an individual preference.

He was up for eviction because he was what everyone inside and outside the house was calling him ..... a dickhead.

He was also up against HM's who did a lot to destroy their own chances of staying the week they were up: Sallie, Jemina, Callum, and Hazel.

The only reason he was put into the safe house was because he was paired with Gina, so voters had no choice but to save him as well.

Dexter did nothing but coasted on the back of other HMs.

CaudleHalbard 21-08-2013 12:11 PM

I'm betting the percentage gap between Sam and Dexter was tiny. Anyone know what it was?

This is bearing in mind there was only 2% between Sam and Sophie when the latter was evicted. Sam got more votes to evict than Dexter. Sam would have gone in the safe house voting twist under VTS: he was still asleep at the time.

In footballing terms "Dexter wuz robbed" !

I agree with the OP. Dexter didn't have much of a personality and his story lines involved people with stronger characters. He attached himself to them, for better or worse, and created a bit of visibility for himself that way. He made sure he was around when rows happened but always watched and said nothing.
The last few weeks listening to him and Charlie rambling on and on and on in the fake nomance was the most boring part of BB this series. Then there was the 'journey' BS which is always boring - and the 'I just want people to like me' and I've never had a friend' stuff looking for sympathy votes. I just don't see him as a great HM at all.
Now Gina - yes. I disliked her a LOT but she was a very strong character, she was entertaining in a 'what a bitch' way. I didn't want her to win though - but if she had, I could understand why.

I think Dexter has a really fun personality. I'm not sure what you mean about he made sure he was around when rows happened, they were ALL around when rows happened because they were in a confined space, it was hard not to be around the rows. It doesn't make him a bad person because he didn't want to get involved in arguments, not everyone enjoys arguments and confrontation like Sallie, Hazel & Dan did. I do agree about the 'triangle' that did get a bit tedious and I wished it didn't happen but it did. That is the only thing I would change about Dexters time in the house, for me he made fantastic viewing and I'm missing him already LOL

This thread is a joke, right? Dexter has been at the centre of every storyline in the House. The most amazing, complex, intriguing housemate we've ever had since Lord Aaron. Long live King Koh! :worship::worship::worship:

Parmi and Jet didn't like Aaron either if memory serves me correctly so I suppose we must gravitate towards a certain type of HM.
