yeah, I don't like the bloke, but to be accused of something like he was accused of must be horrible too. What an awful thing to be accused of if you are innocent. Trouble is there will always be a seed of doubt in some peoples mind so if he is really innocent it must be awful.

Nedusa 21-08-2013 07:59 PM

He's still a racist tosser....!!!!!!

Yeah, but he'd be good on CBB.

A shame for the victims involved.

Apparently Jim Davison has undergone an epiphany. On one of his stage shows he offended a black comedian, who followed him on the bill that night. As a result he wrote a stage play, and the black comedian played his antithesis. In this production he apologises for all his racist jokes. He's a changed man, apparently, sufficiently remorseful for his racism enough for the black comedian he offended to play the lead opposite him. He has done his best to rehabilitate his image, to the satisfaction of the black comedian he offended.

Mmmm, don't think he has changed much.

I'd love to see him in CBB, even if it is just a test of his credentials. When he started out he made fun of an invention of his, a black man called chalky. It make him a huge success in the 70's and early 80's. People lapped that up then. It's very un-PC now. But he was huge for his racist jokes then. That's as much his audiences' fault as his.

I would love to see him as well. I think he would be very interesting.

Maybe. But he hasn't been confirmed.

I have many doubts about this spate of sexual abuse. Celebrities always attract groupees who throw themselves at celebrities. And they are mostly young and impressionable. So, they'll take their cases to court now, in the current environment, looking for money or fame. Or some kind of payday.

I don't like him too Tozzie but I do agree with all you say in your post above.
It is and has to be seen as wrong to be dragged through the mud with this suspicions all around you to be then told there is no charges to answer.

Bad enough for that to happen as to any possible crimes but far worse when the accusations are of a sexual nature.

Not sure I understand that comment. A shame he was cleared of charges? If there was no case to answer I'm not sure I feel that sorry for the "victims".

Have to say though, I think Davidson is an odious man.
