Amy was born and brought up where I was so I think I deserve to have an input on this subject.....and only a selection of people in the area speak like that ( mainly Greek Cypriots)...

Yes, I was trying to identify his accent and Jamaican was the closest match I could think of.

When I saw Abz on the reunion a while ago, I actually thought he was foreign and wasn't really that used to speaking English!! Despite knowing he was in 5ive about 15 years ago, that what I assumed based on his accent!

I do often wonder why youngsters today want to speak like black people. I think in time there is only going to be one accent and the one Abz is speaking is it as a lot of youngsters today seem to think its cool to speak like that, I'm from yorkshire and we speak really broad here but a lot of the youngsters round here do try to speak like Abz perhaps its going to become a universal accent LOL
